Nah doc, I didnt expect it. I expected a lacadestical 1 nil win for us. But alas, I've been a fan since maybe 93 or 92, I'm not sure i can remember us losing 3 titles in the span of one week. I cant wait for this nightmare of a season to end, and for the bulk of these dudes to be given their walking papers. Worst madrid side I've seen without abdoubt

Indeed, I am positive this is the worst Madrid side I've ever seen and outside of Varane and Ramos, maybe Conetois, I would have nuked this whole side and start afresh. Take out a small GDP size loan and start making serious changes.

I am positive I have seen worse Madrid teams Doc what are you saying?

The timing of those clasicos with this return game was really bad. there isn't that big a difference with ajax but a team with no confidence and a sick midfield produce this result

It's not the transition we wanted but it's what we earned over the season

Name a worse RM side please.

We have had unsuccessful teams, we have had boring teams, but this is by far the most boring, unsuccessful RM sides I have ever watched. And think about the contrast. We won CL less than a year ago, and we can't even get a draw against Ajax at home to allow us passed the round of 16.

Results aside, I can't even bare to watch this team play. It's embarrassing, there is no other way to describe it.

Yes, the worst Madrid side I have seen and just like you Nick, I've seen a lot. Not as much as Tito, Sports and Bill but a good amount and this version has been fucking terrible. We are good at nothing. We can't attack, we don't have a coherent midfield, our defense sucks and pick your poison between Conetois and Navas, both not so reliable keepers (and easy scapegoats).

The last bad batch I could remember was 2004 - 2006 and even then, we were good at scoring, just sucked every where else. This bunch can't do anything right. FFS, we can't even draw Ajax at home.

You're right though, the club earned this transition by being completely awful at their jobs. Also, since Lope got fired for losing 5-1 in the Clasico, shouldn't Solari be fired for getting us KO out of 2 trophies?

We wud have to go back a ways to find a worse side . See it's not just the results , these players are boring . The most exciting is a wet behind the ears youngster. CF is garbage, wingers are garbage or injured. Lucas, lucas, lucas has been freaking starting for us :facepalm:

even in calderon's teams, lucas wouldnt start. Even that time Capello didnt play beckham, lucas wouldnt start.

No and this isnt the same team that won 3, cristiano was in those sides, that's a major piece in the puzzle. Please get us a coach and quit the steady the ship gilligan's island charade. And a real coach, not a caretaker yes-man.

I really didnt see this coming
