Modric paces the game really well. One of those players that you don't feel will ever lose the ball once he's got it.

Okay, time for some notes:

1. Bale has been amazing. He has been the only offensive threat so far.

2. Our crosses are no longer threatening. Carvajal and Marcelo have had their fair share of crosses but almost every time, there was nobody at the receiving end. Understandable since Ronaldo is gone, but it's still worrying, especially when you take into account the fact that Leganes aren't exactly a team of giants.

3. We don't have players who take on the opposition 1on1. Most of our chances, if not all, have been the result of our players outpacing the opposition's defenders.

4. I have been looking at our starting eleven, and aside from very few exceptions, we don't have proper replacements for whoever goes down to injury. On the bench we have Nacho and Isco who are great, but the rest? I don't know. I hope Bale doesn't get injured because without him, the attack is truly doomed.

I like how we are playing, very much in control as with the first 2 games.

Casemiro has been really good on second balls, and long balls from Leganes, he nipped everything in the air and allowed us to get back in possession right away. However, when we have the ball, he runs away from it. He is not gving a complete performance and there lies the limit with him. Then he made that foul in the box...

We need to shoot on goal more but im not worried, goals will come.

That shot by Bale though. We need to aim for him. Also need someone at the edge of their box. There was one really good ball that was begging for Kroos but he wasn't there

Those stats are meaningless. He's had a stellar night, regardless of whether or not he scores a hattrick. Plus, the more names you have on the score sheet, the better.

I didn't expect much from Leganes, but they're really awful Very good performance by us, nonetheless.

This is how I want my CF to be. Your main job is to score goals and play with grit. Do that and I'll shut up for eternity. No more "modern CF" BS please.

Also, I love how the team is playing right now. 4-1 and they're still going forward and looking for more goals.
