Incredible signing by Milan. Probably their best striker since Ibra

Wasn't sure if they had someone great in between. But yea agreed.
Hope it works out for him. Great player who gets unnecessary hate.

Not sure if that's a justified statement, you haven't had #9 like Higuain in that time

Juventus will pay €1.5m from the salary of Higuain during his loan spell. Higuain will earn €9m/yr with Milan. (Sky)

I love the Milan fans pointing arbitrary things like this out despite paying 18M for the loan
Just like last season it wasn't 40M for Bonucci, it was 28M and De Sciglio

@Kalinic subtly bragging about getting the better end of the deal without even a kick of the ball. The Frenzy fever Guess he wants a crack at dat GL Mercato championship too i suppose

I'd say Higgy's in the best shape of his life but it's probably just the stress causing a lack of appetite
imagine going from linking up with Dybala and Pjanic to Kessie and Suso, enough to cause anyone to wake up screaming in the middle of the night

So now that this is official, is this the most lopsided player switch since Eto'o + 20m for Ibra?

55M for 31 year old Higuain is not in the same realm as the Eto’o-Ibra switch
The only switch that happened was Bonucci for Caldara at equal valuation which depended on the Higuain move (Milan would not take Higuain without also clearing Bonucci’s costs and receiving Caldara), time will only tell how this switch is viewed but I like our chances as Juventus

It really was Higuain + Caldara for Bonucci + cash. The only people that think this was a good deal for Juve are Juve fans.

Re: Gonzalo Higuain takes his talents to South Beach
no matter how you look at it. milan did highway robbery here.
the deal is fair if straight swap no money involved higuain for bonucci. instead milan getting PAID plus higuain and caldara for a 31 year old bonucci who has a questionable attitude.
nah juve. milan is the real winner in this deal.

We signed arguably the best #9 in Italy who should guarantee at least 15 league goals per season and one of the most promising CB in the country.
Leonardo
A goalscoring winger and a technical CM next pls

cautiously optimistic indeed...
agreed, we need winger (bernard) linked
montolivo been asked to find new club which leaves just biglia, locatelli so midfield is a big requirement... i was shellshocked that João Moutinho swapped for wolves for such a low fee... he would have been perfect...
sticking back to topic... milan still need to have qualify midfield to provide up front for higuain... there isnt much support coming from midfield to support anybody upfront, with the players we have atm at disposal

Bonucci to Juventus
Garbage club. They got rid of their best player, who didn't want to leave, to make room for a *bleep* melt who dissed them one year before and to save only 15 million a year. If they don't win anything in the next 5 years, I'm fine. They can all go frack themselves, from Agnelli to Allegri.

Caldara "It's a pity that I did not get the opportunity to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. I hoped to have the chance of becoming a Juventus player and instead... But in life things could have always turned out to be worse." #CorSport

Actually most Juve fans are melting down about losing Caldara. No one waited for Bonucci at the airport in Torino and only about a dozen fans were there for his medicals
It was a necessary deal that Juventus had to make because of the Ronaldo signing. It’s quite simple to understand, Higuain was our most costly player on the books in terms of his initial transfer cost and wages.
And on your “swap deal”, Caldara and Bonucci were valued equally and Higuain will cost Milan 55M... but yeah, most lopsided deal of the century. We just gave Milan the Scudetto
