Immobile when he loses confidence just becomes what he does.

He was better than given credit for such as how no one mentions he created the space for Chiesa to score v Spain but as the tournament wore on his self doubts and neuroticism took over more and more and looked a shadow of who leads Lazio by the balls.

He got more attention from his dive and his shorts slipping off in the celebratory slide than he did for his own performance. Laughing

Like M99 said, he can score 51 goals in Serie A, 74 goals in all competitions, and 92 goals in a single year and I still won't rate him either.

I guess it's best if we just don't expect anything from him. It's like France when they won with Giroud in 2018 and Guivarch in 1998. He could've done much better, but he actually led the line okay and didn't actually miss sitter, and that's enough from him. Hell, Immobile scoring 2 should be regarded as a bonus as even if he didn't score those Italy would still be champions and he would equal Giroud and Guivarch as a non scoring striker for the champions Laughing

immobile movement (despite him not scoring yesterday), is so good when he plays for lazio. he is always revolving around various areas on the pitch to find spaces but when playing for Italy he is idle just waiting and waiting.

i would still say that immobile is great at lazio because of the link up with the likes of lius alberto and SMS. they know where immobile expects ball and he knows that they want him to run in spaces run between defenders.

Remember folks, this guy has like almost 200 goals in Serie A and could finish his career leapfrogging some of the greatest Serie A strikers of all time in the all time top scorers list.

30 years down the line, @rincon's kid would be blown away looking at his 'stats' and would be hyping him as among the 'greatest Serie A strikers of all time'
