Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
No he doesnt. He isnt a winger and hasnt won anything with spain in any tournament or important match playing there.Mr Nick09 wrote:YOU DOnt need to be a speedster to play outside, Isco does it superbly with spain
Look how much we improved after Benzema was taken out and asensio an actual winger was introduced. Benzema is good for nothing player, link up Bla bla...amount to nothing
Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
This might be kroos worst game for us. Even when Benitez had him as cdm.
Marcelo playing a full 90min is ridiculous

Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
Kroos good God worst game of his career. He was passing it to Spurs players constantly, did not track back and all his shots were horribly miscued. Zz made the wrong subs, Isco should have stayed, both Modric and Kroos should've gone. Theo should've come on sooner.
I am tired of having teams find their players in our box with ease while we cross like we're fishing our guys out of a rubble.
Ronaldo this game tried and tried. Everyone else dissapointed him. Benz instead of shooting like a striker should tries to pass it to Ronaldo even when he has 10 players marking him
ZZ needs to make bold decisions about our XI right now. Out with Marcelo/Benz/Modric. Let them come on as subs for a few games

Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
It's so obvious at this point Hala. Our vets are the ones dragging the flag. Modric, love that lil man, has not played well all season so far. Marcelo has just been shit and Benzema could do the honourable thing and sit himself on the bench. Just stay there.
This was a performance that is akin to whatever we saw back in the day. Like the 4-0 Pool beating...which this could have easily turn out.

Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
my argument last season was Zidane being carried by his veteran players, now they have all tuned off. they won a lot, and they got their contract extensions, no reason to work hard so they are losing. no tactical plan to back them up.

Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
nothing i can say that hasn't been said. lol marcelo smh, damn, modric...you guys know modric has been crap so far this season, that midfield reminded me of early last season, no ability to open up defenses, always making the easy most predictable passes. people will probably disagree with me on this, but i thought isco was utter rubbish today. i don't want to talk about the defense; excluding some brief periods, i've spent probably over 20 years (no exaggeration) whining about our defense
its scary seeing cristiano not being able to do anything at all, i'm not going to talk about his strike partner who has kindly and eloquently educated us on what his job is or isn't. cristiano needs to get his scoring boots on asap, its been long since we've been this desperate. i CANNOT imagine pinning my hopes on the likes of bale, who probably knows every doctor in madrid on a first name basis

Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
i know we do not want to hear this, i don't want to say it either, but what the hell, might as well. two positives to take from this; 1. season is still young, i hope we can get over this bull before crunch time....don't worry, i'm not going to give the "if we go on a run, and our rivals drop points" spiel. cos there's no assurance we too won't keep messing up. but at least there's still time to adjust
2. flo and zidane should realize betting on the current crop as is, with little competition was a huuuge mistake (can't believe we didn't learn from this after carlo's second season), that made zero sense on all levels.... then again if things change for the better (Which i hope they do) i'm sure the same 11 will be on show next season with bale injured as usual
i'm not talking tactics, it leaves me more exhausted than bale after about 3 games

Asensio isn’t really a winger either though.

Re: Tottenham vs Real Madrid
Our core is getting old, we don't have adequate replacements, we can't compete for top players in the market with clubs like Citeh and QSG around. All in all, our football will keep getting worse in the following years...
