Claudio Bravo FFS. Pity that Fifa XI team wasn't announced tomorrow because he would nailed on.
I tell's ya, Pep just improves EVERY* player he works with and that's why he's the GOAT.
*Except Mangala because no-one has the power to improve that great steaming pile of dog sh*t. File him under Lovren and Lindelof as trifecta of gash.

Are you claiming that Pep has improved Bravo?

Yep. It completely deflates the grueling tension of steady, inevitable progression that makes pen shootouts so torturously suspenseful.
I really hope this will not become the standard for CL/WC etc
It was introduced because apparently the first team taking in the old format won 60% of the time or something or like that. They deemed it an unfair advantage and this is there solution. The idea being that by taking two pens in a row, you remove the pressure of having to score after the opposition has. But it just means you have to score your first pens now otherwise you're out of it.
Why do they have to change stuff that noones compaining about?
After losses, coaches and players complain about referee decisions, injuries, the pitch, the ball, the ballboys, the media, what have you.
I have NEVER ever ONCE heard someone complain that they lost because they had to take their penalties as 2nd
Why would you need to change something that has entertained and thrilled people for decades?
Just leave it be ffs.
I hate this.

The ballboy was a real issue. Osasuna ball boys would always keep the ball whenever the home side is having a favourable result.

Tottenham winning 2-0 at half time against West Ham, don't look like they've gotten out of 3rd gear. West Ham are awful. Billic is gone imo
I think Chelsea are winning 1-0 against Everton atm

Shouldn't be allowed to play a first XI and go this hard in a caraboo cup lol
Wouldn't mind Spurs being knocked out tbh

Understand it in the context, Billic needed his players to go all out but since all the big teams are going through, definitely think a win here for Tottenham is a loss

Just how good is Lanzini? Came back from injury and is already leading West Ham to epic comebacks. I''m convinced if he were at a liverpool-level club he would be outshining Coutinho.

Love the range of emotions cSpurs went through as the match went along. From looking down on WHU to considering a loss "given the circumstances" is a good result. I mean, given Spurs have lofty ambitions, guess this trophy is not a big deal to them so it wouldn't matter.

Re: 2017/18 English Football League Carabao Cup and FA Cup thread
I'm kidding tbf of course I would have liked to go through
I don't mind much losing though, considering the competition. I care more about how the game was lost than the loss itself. It was complacency. They should know West Ham's biggest games of the year are against Spurs and they'll always go 120% in those games, especially with the managers job on the line. The goals given up themselves were defensive mistakes as opposed to good play from West Ham. I don't think Poch cares much for the cup but I guarantee he's fuming.
I do think that it will be a good reminder to keep feet on the ground though. I'd be wrong to mind the loss much when there are more important things at stake than a Caribbean cup match

Became a starter for Argentina in 2024 in my career mode. Too bad due to my amazing youth scouting they couldn't beat Peru : )

When's the draw for the quarters?
Hopefully it's United away.
Sick and tired of playing inferior teams who park the bus.
