Pandora's temple in GOW 1 was for sure one of the best things I've played in any video game ever. That scene with Ares when you finish it and start to exit

God Of War II was the best IMO. The entire game was such a ride. The first act alone was crazy, fighting the Colossus, fighting Zeus, coming back from the Underworld, riding Pegasus, it all happens in just a few hours. And holy shit the fight with the Last Spartan and Kraken gives you the fkin chills. You'd think there was no way that that was going to be topped and then you fight the Sisters of Fate on top of the sword you killed Ares with in the first game and the final fight from the first game going on at the background

Yeah a bunch. Its puzzles, brutal combat, and amazing bosses. In an amazing setting with a great story.

I really wanna replay 2, its been too long. It was a bit less interesting for me in terms of story but the game itself was amazing, even better than 1.

But then 3 was just too epic. Hades, Poseidon, Hephaestus, Hercules, etc. Just too much savagery going on. And the ending

I don't think you'll regret it. The third one is my personal favourite.

I should mention something though RG, the new one they showed at E3 last year is nothing like the original trilogy from what i have played.

It looks a completely different game, nothing wrong with that though as it looks amazing regardless.

Lol at M99 saying GoW 2 was better, GoW 1>GoW 3>GoW 2, the whole sisters if fate bs retarded, the obly thing good is it set up Zeus vs Kratos. But from level design and story aspect 1>2 for me, and dont link me a vid of that flying horse section

Should have just been a new guy and a new story.

There is 0 chance they can pull of any decent link between GOW 3 and this, it seems lazy.

Its a cop out. They are calling it a continuation of the last game for no reason other than to just to sell more, you can see that right away. It should have just been a reboot or a new character/story.

Agreed, Kratos' arc is over after 3, the ending was perfect for his character. This new one isn't canon

No it isn't you are jumping to conclusions like most people do based on nothing when a developer releases a trailer.

At least wait for them to explain why he has a kid, why he's trying to teach him whatever, what happened after 3 and why he's in the Norse Mythology instead of Greek.

If those explanations suck then fair enough but as of now you are just doing what every gamer does when a franchise changes something.

Overreact based on nothing and refuse to allow the game to explain the questions you have.

Also it's very funny when everyone complains about sequels but when a franchise gets a much needed refresh and a character gets much needed depth everyone complains lol.

Devs can't win, I can almost guarantee if Gow 4 was made there would be cries of "Gow 3.5 try something new!!!" lmao.

Where did I complain about changes and refreshing? I said reboot it. Just start over and make a new story. Or even just make the same game and change that character to something other than Kratos.

His story was very clearly wrapped up in 3. Not only that, but his whole character doesn't match this one at all.

Its cheap and lazy.

You don't know the story was wrapped up, you are not the creator.

They decide when that happens, they could easily continue the story it wouldn't be that hard to explain it.

Again saying it's cheap and lazy before they even begin to explain anything is hilarious and standard they changed my game and I don't like it overreaction.

This is basically the same as The Last of Us fans complaining that Ellie and Joel are back, at least trust the developers who make the game to explain the reasons why these changes are made before you start accusing them of being cheap and lazy.

I don't care about the future of god of war, or most other games, I didn't play Ascension. I look at a game and I see if I like and if I'm feeling it, and that's it. Nor did I play the portable games. I'm not fanboying this series.

Obviously the creator decides what happens to the story. What kind of argument is that? I'm not pretending that this game doesn't exist or denying its part in their story.

That doesn't mean its a good decision or that it holds creative integrity.

The original writers of God Of War always wanted to bring Kratos to Norse mythology (AND Egyptian). Kratos was originally planned to be the bringer of apocalypse, destroyer of worlds and killer of gods across all three worlds until the Three Wisemen arrive.

For Honor's microtransactions would take two and a half years to fully unlock

I swear, I saw someone on Youtube claim that you can unlock them by simply playing the game, so it's no big deal

Borderlands collection is on sale for 18eur until the 27th.

Might get that, never played the series.
