I'd prefer spend big on an actual physical and TALL midfielder, than obtaining Brozovic:, a handyman who's so-so.

Gustavo, Witsel or even Yaya Touré (if Juve is down to pay his salary) are all wishable targets.

Matuidi, Brozovic, Herrera, Fabregas... those guys don't even fit our needs. Seriously, i don't get the hype around Brozovic, most of the times i saw him he wasn't a factor on the field.

@Gigi Yeah I agree there is no space for him in a 352, but he would give us more reasons to  play 433 and thus more tactical flexibility. It would allow us to play with:

Pjaca-Hig/Mandzu-Cuadrado when needed

Look at his videos. He has some great outisde of the box goals. Really good Passer and I like what I saw from him on Youtube. He is Inter's best Midfielder. He had a good Euros.

I would sooooooooooooo much rather get Betancur than Fabregas or Isco. We need a CM now that Pereyra is out. Fabregas is useless and Isco doesn't fit, he is bad at CM and not good enough to make us change tactics for him for AM, so he is a 40mill bench player...

Eriksen would be a great move but maybe we need someone who can do better defensively.We already got a similar player on Pjanic.If we can offload Hernanes and bring Diawara & Eriksen we will be even stronger than last year.
I have hope on Asamoah to finally make a consistent season.
First seasons when he was healthy he played as LB because we didn't have one.Now he can finally play at his natural position.
I'm sure he will do great this season if he let his injuries behind him.

Lemina can also up his game this year if he gets more minutes.He can definetly be a possible starter for us.

Eriksen and Diawara would replace perfectly Pereyra and Mehnanes respectively.

Milan swap De Sciglio for Zaza?

Milan and Juventus could consider a swap deal involving Mattia De Sciglio and Simone Zaza, reports suggest.

Zaza was on the verge of a move to Wolfsburg, but the transfer collapsed after the Bianconeri couldn’t agree on a transfer fee.

The Diavolo are known to be interested in the striker, and calciomercato.com reports that a possible swap deal is being considered.

The website claims that Juve offered a €5m loan with €20m obligation to buy for De Sciglio, but that was rejected as the Rossoneri need money for the transfer market immediately.

However, with Zaza valued at €25m and De Sciglio around the same, a swap deal could benefit both clubs, as Milan could strengthen the attack without making any sales.

It’s likely Zaza would find more space at San Siro than Juventus Stadium, while De Sciglio could act as backup to Dani Alves, with Stephan Lichtsteiner linked with an exit.

DORTMUND JOIN SCHALKE IN BATTLE FOR STEPHAN LICHTSTEINER...

Borussia Dortmund and Schalke 04 are looking to battle each other for Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner, according to Tutto Sport.

The 32-year-old Swiss international has been a major part of the Juventus squad for the last five seasons. However the Serie A champions have brought in Dani Alves from Barcelona on a free transfer, so he could find his place in the squad under threat.

Rather than letting him leave on a free transfer next season, Juventus might be happy to sell him. Dortmund and Schalke are the two Bundesliga sides mentioned, although VfL Wolfsburg has been mentioned in past reports.

This summer he has also been linked to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side, as well as a potential reunion with former Juventus manager Antonio Conte at Chelsea.

Lichtsteiner first played for Swiss side Grasshopper before moving to Ligue 1 side Lille in 2005. After three seasons he was brought to the Serie A by Lazio, winning the Coppa Italia in his first season in Italy.

The majority of his trophy cabinet has come from Juventus, who have won the Serie A in all five seasons he has spent with the team. He won the Coppa Italia two more times, and came close to winning the Champions League in 2015.

Juventus & PSG Still €10 Million Apart In Matuidi Negotiations...

The French midfielder is open to the idea of joining the Bianconeri  but PSG’s high asking price is making negotiations difficult for the Scudetto holders.

Since the departure of Paul Pogba, Juventus have continued their pursuit on the mercato for a new central midfielder to fill in the gap left by the new Manchester United signing. Although the likes of Axel Witsel and Marcelo Brozovic are on the verge of being crossed off their shortlist, PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi has now become one of the main targets as the window nears it closure. As per Tuttosport, Matuidi could see his playing time reduced under new manager Unai Emery and could push for a move away from the Ligue 1 champions. With six midfielders on the books and only two spots available, the lack of certainty in his status has the 29-year old already thinking about life beyond PSG.

Juventus have already proposed an offer of €25 million to PSG but it is €10 million short of their €35 million asking price. It is a price tag that Juventus consider quite high and are not keen on matching it due to Matuidi salary of €5 a season. If negotiations stall or fall through, Marotta and Paratici may turn their attention to Anderlecht star Youri Tielemans, who reportedly made a strong impression on Juventus scouts, according to Tuttosport.

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado is set to return to Juventus on loan following successful negotiations between the Bianconeri and his agent Alessandro Lucci, Goal understands.

Juve will pay €4 million up front and have agreed to buy the 28-year-old outright at the end of the season, with a fee for the permanent deal still to be agreed.

Antonio Conte had hoped to include Cuadrado in his first-team squad this season but Cuadrado and his family expressed their desire to return to Italy.

Despite his previous insistence Cuadrado would not leave, Conte was forced to leave the 28-year-old out of his squad to face West Ham on Monday night when it became clear he was unwilling to stay in London.

PSG ask €40m for Matuidi

Juventus reportedly want Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi, but the French club demand €40m.

The Bianconeri are in need of a new midfielder after Paul Pogba joined Manchester United for a world-record fee, and have been consistently linked with his fellow Frenchman.

Both Unai Emery and PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi have warned that Matuidi is not for sale, but it’s believed the player himself is keen to move to Turin.

According to calciomercato.com, today the Old Lady made an enquiry about the 29-year-old, but were told he will cost €40m plus bonuses.

It’s thought Juve don’t want to go above €28m, and the Ligue 1 side are unlikely to offer discounts, given the state of relations between the clubs.

PSG were angry that the Bianconeri took Kingsley Coman to Turin when his contract expired, and the situation was exacerbated when they made an approach for Jonathan Ikone, who ultimately stayed in Paris.

Therefore Matuidi’s intentions will be crucial to the deal, as will the input of his agent, Mino Raiola.

It’s thought Raiola is willing to help Juve do the deal, as he received a hefty commission as part of Pogba’s €105m move to Manchester United.
