That's a foul all day for me, but a very harsh second yellow considering how early in the game it is and it being a final.

Messi sent him off himself when he signaled for the card though, once I saw the hand gesture there was no question in mind what was to happen next Proud

It looks like a clear obstruction foul to me
Messi pushed the ball forward and is following the path to the ball, defender played the body instead of the ball
