Feels like this team has not progressed at all since the WC. We're still playing everyone in defense and our attacking philosophy is "pass it to messi and hope he, alone, conjures up some magic".

Thi team is so heavily dependant on Messi , it's ridiculous.

Di maria, Aguero , Pastore, Higuain are on paper extarordinary players. However their performances between 2014-2016 have been subpar. Had they being at their true level, Argentina would have one the WC or the Copa and this one would have been a bonus.

I don't blame any of them. When you don't have a midfield any team will struggle. Worst midfield by far of any top team.

Pastore is a mid, Di Maria can be used there too, Banega is a good player. Javier Masch is a rock . I truly don't get why their mid is not doing better. Messi could have played much higher.
