If this was a two-legged tie it would've been a very one-sided contest in the favor of Atletico but in a one-off tie anything can happen.

On one hand I agree with you but on the other hand I dont want a park the bus team to win the CL. Atletico play so ridiculously dirty is disgusting.

Atleti always choke it up against RM in Europe. It may not be easy, but this CL will go to RM.

For the sake of the beauty of our beloved game, we should hope a team whose foundation is built primarily on defense does not win. People are already praising their style of play and if it succeeds, that will be a victory for conservatism over boldness and creativity.
For the sake of clarification, when i say creativity, I am referring to Bayern and Barcelona not Real Madrid.

Imagine a league with about 14-15 teams trying to copy the atletico Model, imagine having to endure that sort of football for 9 months! that's as bad as a bullet to the head; i'd probably switch to rugby.

Trust me, head to head record does not matter this time around. Ancelotti was a hard head, he was too dogmatic with his tactics. All the times he played against atletico, he played with the same tactics.

oh yea, this is the year of the underdogs, and we all know who the underdog in this match is.
Sadly enough, a team that defeated a Barcelona with the best attack in the History of football and a Guardiola-managed Bayern with revolutionary tactics cannot be seen as the underdogs.

They lost the right to be called underdogs by qualifying for the second CL final in 3 years; underdogs dont do that! underdogs scrap their way through much less inferior teams like Roma, Wolfsburg and an uninspiring city,an underdog gets its season written off barely half-way through; and that underdog is Real Madrid.
