No chance against Eva Green imo , both beauty and acting :coffee:

Having said that. Krysten Ritter is 10/10 hot anyway , and i am really enjoying her Jessica Jones right from the beginning . I follow the plot and all , but at times i would get distracted ffs , all i can think of is smashing that Proud

.

Didn't know anything about JJ before , can't wait to find out what happens. I really like it so far , up to ep 5 . Will watch some more tonight .

Strong season. Strong start.
But noooooooo way is this better than Daredevil. While the JJ pilot was one of the most intense, dark starts I have ever seen, and even contained shades of psychedlic psychological thriller, for the whole season it doesn't hold up to Daredevil. Again,the pilot was absolutely amazing though, and I thought this could easily be a top 3 show of the year, but the next 5 episodes felt like your average b-grade Veronica Mars type of show. It picked up in episode 7 again however and maintained some of intensity more consistently. Daredevil fight scenes were 1000x times better, and while Kilgrave was great, Fisk over him any day of the week. And the JJ had so many annoying characters ffs rofl

The druggie neighbour, the incest sister is right up there with the most annoying characters in tv history, and Simpson isn't far behind. God he was annoying.

I loved though how they didn't stereotype Jessica, she is of course pretty and hot, but her character wasn't clad with sexy innuendos etc etc. Trish was probably the only good supporting character, and am I the only one that didn't like Luke Cage hmm

No wonder the season picked up again after the halfway point because I think much of why I didn't like enjoy ep2-6 was because of his love development with Jessica.

Killgrave is one of the best villains on TV. What a brilliant character. David Tennant with a 10/10 performance so far

Finished it

One of the best shows I've ever seen. Specially one of the best psychological dramas I've seen.

Was engrossed from episode 1 to 10. Absolutely fantastic in every way. The way they created suspense and atmosphere was brilliant. The whole show lacked colour and 'life' and that complemented the theme of the show perfectly. They really do know how to make comic book tv shows.

This show is not comparable to Daredevil at all. JJ is a psychological thriller while DD is an action crime drama.

But I would say both are pretty close to each other. Same level with one better at something than the other.

David Tennant absolutely stole the show. What an actor. Everything he did was 10/10. First Fisk and now Killgrave, Netflix are brilliant at character development of their villains.

I agree with everyone that DD had miles better supporting cast. I didn't mind Malcolm. Luke Cage was amazing. Trish was good.

Was nice seeing Claire :bow:

I didn't think they would kill off Killgrave though. Eventhough that was a perfect ending overall, I would have thought he would just escape and return later.

It will be harder to eclipse this level next season though. DD has the likes of Punisher and Elektra to help season 2. JJ will find it extremely difficult to match anyone like Killgrave. Specially with the lack of other good characters.

PS: David Tennant can be used to voice Joker in the future imo. Has a great 'joker voice'. Loved his humour in JJ lol :bow:

Seemed like to me the way it ended made it obvious that's it.

I agree with everything you said though, it's an amazing show. I haven't watched Daredevil and doubt i ever will but i loved this.

Not anytime soon.

I think it will happen, but not in the next 3-4 years. DD season 2 (watch daredevil btw pls), Luke Cage, Iron fist and defenders should take the next 3-4 years.

I guess thats why they didnt leave any loose ends or cliff hangers. Had a satisfying ending in a way. They are probably hesitant as well.

I gave this a chance because of the overall tone it was giving off from the trailers.

have been watching Gotham and while i can attest to what he said , it's not as good as DD by any stretch , it's pretty good anyway

again DD is the shit , you're really missing out especially if you liked JJ.. but Gotham is also worth it on it's own if you like Batman , tbh the only reason i bothered is because i also like Batman e.t.c

DD is very dark, gritty and 'realistic'. The tone is very much inspired on the later Batman films, which themselves were inspired on the DD commics. I would give it a shot if you like Batman.

Apparently both DD2 and Luke Cage is going to out this year (2016). And then The Defenders the year after (2017) with Iron Fist possibly only being a TV film (the last part is only rumored though). So we'll get the content much sooner than 3-4 years.
