If this happens it just prove that RGmahon is an expert at long term booking unlike his 70+ year old counter part in New York

I will personally hand it over to him and make 6irenze weep imo
nick wants courtois I believe
Madrid spending 60m on De Gea would probably rustle him
Nick can wish for all he wants but once everything's done, he'd be the first to fanboy De Gea.
Anyway people are tired of seeing Juve-United feud. It's about time we moved on tbh unless you finished 6th which in case would become a 10 on 1 matchup (:
United and Madrid fans quarrelling over De Gea yet again needs to happen imo. GL fans demand it.

And they're thinking of Griezmann
Be some crack when they try to get Niang on loan from Watford and make Okore pay half his transfer fee

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
I would never get tired of anyone quarreling here. In fact, no quarreling is usually a dull forum. Anyway, Madrid just wanted an excuse to go after De Gea and they got after the howler Navas did against Sevilla.
On a side note, hoping there are Isco to Juventus rumours to really spice things up and see Sugars quote Chad. This summer is gonna be lit.

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
Nick, this is not a surprise. The same day that Courtois interest came public, Sanchez reportedly got in touch with De Gea to tell him the club (Real M.) had not forgotten their promise to him.
I read it this way. They didn't want Navas in the first place, primarily due to his age. When De Gea deal fell thru, they were ok to stay with Navas for the short term, but promised De Gea they would be back at first opportunity.
With Navas' declined performance this season and with signing ban now lifted, replacing Navas is definitely in the cards. They have their eye on both De Gea and Courtois and who they get largely depends on negotiations with both Chelsea and Man U.

"Someone is messing around there with De Gea," he told media representatives. "We're not going to deny everything that comes out about transfers.
"We won't work on any signing until the end of the season. Everyone is really happy with Keylor Navas."
Deal Sealio

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
Of course he's gone in the summer. Did anyone really think that a top keeper like de Gea would waste his whole career in the crappy PL playing for a has-been club struggling to keep up with joke clubs like Tottenham?

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
Ibra, best pure striker in the world when we signed him and proving it now
Mkhi best Bundesliga player when we signed him and proving it now
Pogba hottest prospect in the world and a top 5 midfielder when we signed him and dabbing it now
Di Maria was a top 3 player in the world when we signed him
not sure how you're having a hard time grasping these facts but I thought I'd lay them out for you

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
Barca and Madrid remain the absolute most attractive destinations in world football but we're quite easily right behind them, even with a lack of consistent CL the last few seasons, that's incredible.
I won't say it will never happen since De Gea is Spanish and it's Madrid but I do not see Madrid paying 60m for a GK. Could see it being Varane + cash tbh. Then we'll sign Lloris or Donna. I'd actually love that thinking about it. Varane- Bailly

Re: Thibuuuu: welcome to Madrid
Juventus are set to make a move for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea if they miss out on Gianluigi Donnarumma, acccording to The Sun.
The Bianconeri see Milan teenager Donnarumma as the natural successor for veteran Gianluigi Buffon, but the San Siro outfit are reluctant to sell.
And that has led to Juve looking for alternatives, with De Gea top of their wishlist should they fail to land their No.1 target
