I loved 4, bought the complete version of 5 recently on sale though I haven't had a chance to start it yet. I think I'll wait for some expansion packs for Beyond Earth, the reviews seem to indicate it is much like Civ 5 upon its initial release. With promise but far from complete.

I still play from time to time the 5 (no expansion packs), it's good, balanced. The AI is hopeless with its military units, though. I've never seen such a stupid AI anywhere, honestly. However, the difficulty levels make somewhat up for it as the CPU is sure to have more units than you. So, the game isn't ruined by the amazingly bad AI, but at times it makes it too easy. Also, matches are great fun up to a point, but towards the end it tends to go into a "waiting mode" when you're just waiting to get either the tech victory or the cultural victory or even the diplomatic victory. Against the CPU, you're pretty much going to know after 75% of a match whether you're going to win or not.

Can a multi billion pound monster of a company not absolutely ruin some pleb in a basement? Don't care how much they know about computers surely a bunch of fkn pro's with the best technology available destroy these people legally or otherwise.

Yeh was thinking the same thing. It's 2014, they have the best technology available and it happened a few years ago. Surely they would have learned by now.

Thing is though the super hackers probably spend 24/7 trying to find the smallest weakness and eventually somehow get through, which takes the whole thing down.

Yeah I get that they can't prevent every single one of the attacks but I refuse to believe a company with the GOAT resources and ability to hire almost anybody they want couldn't utterly wipe a small group of nerds off the map

How many *bleep* times does this happen every year, it's always the same 2 groups doing it. Surely it's not just an inconvenience anymore it's actually damaging.

PSN is down not because of the attacks anymore but that they have purposefully taken down their servers for maintenance. The attacks have stopped a while ago for both consoles but PS4 has chosen to shut down servers.

If Lizard squad fried the servers, PSN will be gone for a long time. That's why it's taking so long for Sony to get it back up again. But let's hope those kids were inept.

In an interesting turn of events. Lizard squad tried to take on tor, but failed badly. Called out Anon group. Who basically started an operation against the lizard squad. Revealed their networks. Apparently they are operating from France. But who knows.

What a time to be alive.
