He used go flip flop his decision in the past so who knows. He said this is the last MGS for himself ( he said it about 3 and 4 as well lol )
and maybe Konami see it differently.

Either way he already got Fox engine at top notch level, one game to try out real open world, he's good to do whatever next. Fox engine is enough to sustain his company one generation or two.

Would be a great april fools set up lol

The Fox Engine was developed on Konami time with Konami resources, so it belongs to Konami sadly.

Nah, the Japanese fiscal year starts on April 1, that's when all the big postional changes, acquisitions and mergers take place. Square and Enix for example merged on April 1st.

God of war 3 remaster coming to PS4.

Think this means GOW4 is a possibility.

It's not just a possibility lol, it's been in development since GOW3 the devs said as much about 6 months ago.

I'm happy about this though, never did get round to playing GOW3.

Not much of a clip, but it's something. I don't know what to say about the game as a whole, yet, but the combat system is definitely interesting!

Nope, they're scattered around, so you can choose whether to encounter or avoid them. There's a red bar on the top of your screen that indicates how close you are to initiating a fight, based on proximity to the target. You can run from a battle whenever you like, and you'll still get experience for any kills you get, so you can pick out enemies one by one and regain health inbetween each fight.

Night time really means night time in this game, it was so dark I couldn't see a large rock that was 10f away from me. I really like Noctis' teleport ability - you can use it to run away and temporarily regain health and mana during fights, and you can use it to launch an attack from distance.

You can also use it to teleport to higher places and completely avoid being hit, and then launch a long-range attack, once you decide to get down on the ground again. I've only just started playing the demo, I'm sure there are tons of other things you can do. They seem to have added a lot of subtle details to the game, like NPC team mates healing you or getting you out of tough situations and then high fiving you, or Noctis starting to huff and puff once you've sprinted for a while. The demo is looking good, so far, and the open world looks like it's going to be pretty massive

Same for me. I want to go back to a time where I didn't despise Kratos with every fibre of my being, by alas, I cannot. If I replay the games I would have to deal with his hypocrisy and his incessant whining and entitlement all over again.

Can't wait for FFX remastered, its coming out in May, i know i'm gonna be spending most of my time blitzballing than actually playing

You are just like my mate. He spent more time on that than the actual game

It's really addicting for a mini-game/sidequest. On my first playthrough, tt took me a long time to get to know the ropes, hopefully i've still got it lol

You're probably referring to X-2 or any of the two games that came out after that one

Final Fantasy X was a pretty good game, in my opinion. I personally think it was a relatively large step down from the previous games in the series, in terms of just about everything but graphics, but it was still a pretty good game nonetheless. I never liked the main character, Tidus, though.. and I despised Vaan from Final Fantasy XII - wish I hadn't bought that game. In fact, I wish I hadn't bought any of the FF games that were released after FF X.

X was the last real FF game which people loved.

X-2 isn't well liked for some reason. Not played it but will find out soon.

XI,XII and XIII were all beyond awful.

15 is going to re-ignite the series.

The completionist in me made me force myself through completing FF X-2, but by the end of it, it felt like my testicles had shrunk by at least 50%. Yuna is the main character - the game has an insanely feminine, "girl power" vibe to it, and the combat system is based around dressing up your characters in different costumes and dancing and crap, lol. It's a really goofy, awkward game, and the whole atmosphere of it just feels really odd. They clearly designed the game to cater towards girls in their early teens... for some really odd reason. So, I'm not surprised that many people disliked it.

Other than that, FF X-2 feels really similar to FF-X. The only difference is that they scrapped everything that was good about FF-X, and enhanced the parts that were lame about it, added some dress-em-up elements and dancing, and made Yuna (the main character) a pop star. As far as I remember, the controllable characters are all women, but Wakka, Auron and the Sasquatch-looking one all appear briefly as NPCs. Other than that, I remember several cheesy musical-esque scenes and Yuna having flashbacks about Tidus. The whole story revolves around Yuna and her friends chasing Tidus' ghost. If you don't mind the 'in my opinion' relatively uninteresting story and girly theme, it's otherwise an alright game.

Game sucks, I've played every single Final Fantasy from 1-X2. This and Final Fantasy XI are by far the most horrible out of the series. The Music is pure crap, the whole game is a complete joke. No weapons, No Armor, No Limit Breaks, No Overdrives, No Aeons. Garment Grids and Dress Spheres?? This game should be called Final Fantasy: Barbie. Its so feminine, I can't believe so many GUYS are giving it the praise it DOES NOT deserve. Horrible game.

I usually frown upon people who give a score of 0 on Metacritic, and I do in this case too, but I mostly agree with him

Basically what Thimmy said

IV, VII and X are my top 3 of the series, mainly due to the nostalgia factor associated with those games lol
