Way too much speculation about Benzema swapping clubs when all the facts suggest against it happening:

- His striker competition in the squad is: Jese.
- There's no need to play Ronaldo as striker, he's getting a shitload of goals as it is.
- There are no obvious replacements available.
= Benzema is almost guaranteed to remain first-choice striker and get plenty of game time. At a club on which there are no upgrades.

He's not moving, no need to speculate about it.

In the past few years, it usually came down to the player asking to leave as opposed to Madrid forcing it...  In Benz' case, he won't give up his job by default.  As he's mentioned, he wants someone to come in and take it from him.  If he competes and he loses out, then he'll leave.  He's very very stubborn about it as Madrid is his childhood club.  Not at all afraid of competition.  He idolized R9 and R9 was at Madrid when Benz was in his early teens.

Madrid are going to have to force him to leave whether directly or by not playing him.
