Bale being clutch is a myth, atleast for us. Missed a sitter in the final against Atletico, while Ramos had to bail us out. Atletico were already broken by Extra time. Bale is still really good, but a lot of premier league fans are really overrating how good he's been.

Benzema is stronger then bale because hes bigger. Hes 190 lbs, bale is 170. bale has poor agility and balance as well. Benzema has a way bigger frame too..

Shots taken is a much better and accurate stat. Bale was shooting from everywhere for Spurs and he had the green light. You see... there has to be a correlation for your point to have any validity:

Bale
2012-2013: 198 shots
2011-2012: 154 shots

Benzema
2012-2013: 170 shots
2011-2012: 98 shots

And Gil... Benz has scored as many goals as CR7 against Barca at the Bernabeu (5) and has 3 more at Camp Nou. 6 of the 8 happened in the last 3 seasons... so yeah, he's very clutch. Ask Dani or any other knowledgeable Barca fan about how Benz plays them.

Add to that, he got us finally past Lyon, saved us at home against City a couple of years ago, scored against Bayern and is generally a beast in CL and all big games.

So yeah... i'd say he's proven a lot more clutch than Bale just based on his body of work.

I've never seen Benzema play as good as he is playing this season. He's stronger, faster, very aggressive. The talent was always there, but now we're seeing the beast we were promised several years ago in his first seasons at Lyon.
