In even bigger news they are increasing cloud storage from 10gb to 100gb.

Which is awesome news, i should never run out now when with 10GB i almost certainly would have.

Think it's because they are killing a lot of ps3 and vita storage. Rightfully so.

Some big games though in feb.

Hitman is legit fantastic, i still not get round to the 2nd one but anyone that hasn't played it should try it out.

For Honor was really fun when it first come out but they ruined it by allowing people to buy gear with real money and peer to peer servers.

No idea if that changed, so yeah agreed a very good month if you haven't played those games.

I think I brought up this question before, but do you think we won't get a PS5 this year considering they're skipping E3? Waiting until end of  2020 seems a bit meh. Want the PS5 this year ffs. Still need to buy a 4K TV before then, looking at how cheap they've become Proud

Correct, it will be 2020.

Not sure why you want it now though, we still have Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Cyberpunk and TLOU in terms of big AAA stuff to come before PS5.

It would be silly to release it now.

2020 or 2021.

Think TLOU might be the last AAA game on ps4. Will obviously be remastered for PS5 though.

It will be a disgrace if PS5 is not backward compatible. No excuses for Sony.

There was a leak a while ago that suggested it should be.

Honestly i don't think remasters are acceptable anymore unless you are talking collection type things.

lads

I'm getting a 4K TV this week and 90% sure I'm gonna get a Pro too, will I actually notice a difference for those of you that have one over the vanilla PS4? I should just watch a YT video I guess.

I do notice differences. Nothing game changing but they are certainly noticeable. Also vanilla PS4 will actually look worse on a 4K than on your 1080p TV.

Kind of depends on size of your TV i suppose.

I had a pretty small TV, so the difference for me was really drastic.

Also it depends on the game, for example Assassins Creed looked like a ps3 game in comparison on my old TV.

I have a 65" 4k TV and I thought the difference was drastic. It mostly depends on the game, from what I can tell. All games look better on a 4k TV +PS4 Pro, to some extent, but the real difference can be found in games that are designed for 4k. For what it matters, I spent about 1700-1800 quid on my current TV, so I did expect a substantial level of difference from my 7 year old 52" Plasma.

I have a 32 inch atm and I was planning on getting a 40 inch Samsung 4K, now the reason for this is that due to the nature of my gaming setup, I don't sit that far away from my screen, I'd get a much larger 4K TV for the PS4 if I were playing in a living room or something.

I don't really want to go above 40 inches but I might if I'm not gonna notice much of a diff unless I get a much larger tv

I honestly don't even want a Pro Laughing

but if I'm upgrading to 4K I may as well, I guess. Imagine we're looking at 18 months or so until PS5 min too.

Depending how much you play between now and PS5 it's probably still worth it tbh.

yeah tbf I did a little more reading around today and most said it's arguably not that worth getting a PS Pro period. Watched a few of the tech videos too.

M99 got me shook about a vanilla PS4 looking worse on a 4K TV though smh

think I'm gonna hold off, especially since the Pro is still 350 quid, could get a Switch or something and a game for that. Will keep my Vanilla PS4.

I got the pro first so i have no idea if what M99 says is true lol.

You'll have to get a TV eventually anyway so no reason why you can't see how it goes and if it truly is horrible go from there.

If you think you can deal with it until end of next year then yeah probably best to wait.

Its true lol, same way how 480p on a HD TV looks worse than 480p on a SD TV. But you're good, most games nowadays upscale the 1080p and it looks fine.
