Yeah with Ecuador losing today I don't think Argentina is in that much of grave danger. At worst, they'll finish 5th and play the playoff against New Zealand (or is it against Asian team? I forgot).

It might come down to the last game Ecuador-Argentina to decide it. Although most likely Argentina will be qualified by then.

Yeah I am predicting a loss against Uruguay and wins against Venezuela and Peru.

It's a very real chance. Even if we win 6 points there's a strong chance we will depend on the results of other teams to make it. It could come down to who wins Brazil - Chile, and you guys just might throw that game on purpose if it means kicking us out (and you willl already be qualified by then)...

Uruguay also has a super easy ride (Peru, Arg, Para, Ven, Bolivia) so we can expect them to make it with points to spare.

New AFA president is saying that they will review the normalizing board's decisions and turn some back, which people have interpreted as him talking about Bauza's appointment. It's possible we might make a play for Sampaoli in June.

The number of scrubs in that team. Not to mention the scrub managerial appointments each time. We need a half decent coach to start with. Luckily the playoffs will come to the rescue. FFS at least qualify for the finals.

It's a shame players like Vietto and Krane didn't continue their development well under his Sevilla stint.

6'1 DM. Argentina can definitely do with them. Hope he is legit. Defence still as bad as ever but Sampaoli wouldn't care about that.
