Demichelis is improved in last period of year, he played also better than Kompany.

Mascherano is the key of all , most important player in this NT, even more than Messi imho.
He should be dipped in the waters of the River Styx, so as to be invulnerable , and possibily also the heel , in this case.
Similar matter for Di Maria, another player with no good replacements , but Mascherano expecially, he is essensial for the balance of team . He IS The balance .

Yeah it looks like he won't play. And frankly if he was only 90% fit he should not play anyway, we need a team of 11 gladiators today.

I'm not terribly upset considering Enzo proved he was no slouch (our own poor man's Vidal) but he will be missed in the attacking phases a lot. Especially if Higuain forgets how to finish again.

What's next for Argentina from here? Will Sabella stay? We are seriously lacking in quality in midfield. We need a Requelme so that Messi can play at his best position and not have to take the burden of producing and finishing simultaneously. That looked like asking too much of him.

I feel like Messi in the next world cup will be groomed to play as the Riquelme of the team. He will be older and his stamina will be even worse than it is now. He won't be a striker that's for sure (he'll still score goals probably). If Sabella doesn't continue, then we need to actually get a new manager-it's not Simeone's time yet, Martino might be given a shot (lol), Sampaoli for Chile is also Argentine but I'm not sure if he's stepping down from Chile, maybe they'll consider some local managers that I don't know about.

We didn't even deserve to be in the final, yet we played against a rubbish Germany side and we made them look okay.

Messi and his cocksucking crew of Sabella and co need to go. I felt sorry for Argentina players for having to play the extra time with 10 men.
