AC Milan have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for Diego Lopez and now his agent is in Italy to close the deal, according to Sky Italia.

yeah read he gave him his debut when he was only 16. But according to Serie A followers he is just a younger version of Arbeloa hmm

not sure I'd be comfortable with that. Rather get someone more experienced if that's what Carlo is aiming for

hopefully nacho can do the job as the back up right back because arbeloa is absolutely atrocious and he's getting worst... if thats even possible.

Yeh I think getting someone experienced would be better. Someone like Darmian or De Sciglio should be playing regularly at their age. However I can't really see us signing a RB until next summer, it's not really a priority and the club probably think that Arbeloa is an adequate backup.

Good luck to him. During his time with us he was nothing but a professional. He kept getting criticised by the media but still did his best and was rewarded with a CL medal

The media were constantly on the Iker v Lopez case and it went so far separate sections of the Bernabeu booed the goalie they didn't support. Something had to change so I think letting one of them go was the right thing to do. Lopez was just caught in the midst of all this which is extremely unfortunate because he didn't deserve it. Letting go of Iker would have seen Perez on the chopping block by the media, fans and the socios so Lopez was the one. Would've liked him to go to a CL team but if he is ok with Milan then I can just wish him the best of luck

Fiorentina are interested in Khedira and their executives will meet when Real Madrid play them tomorrow in a friendly, according to AS. Khedira however prefers a move to Germany or England. Fiorentina are willing to offer him €3.5m a year.

Apparently the club has offered DiMaria a raise to 5 ME net but he has rejected it according to LaSexta. He should imo. Real Madrid>>> Money. It will be so sad to see him leave just cuz his ego got in his way. He knows the players and coaching team love him so whoever Perez gets Carlo will probably still choose him as a sure starter so sign the damn thing already

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has said that Angel Di Maria has asked to leave the club and Sami Khedira has rejected a new contract.

Di Maria, who has been heavily linked with a move to both Manchester United and Paris St Germain, has rejected the offer of a new contract with the current European champions.

Khedira, who has also turned down new terms at the Bernabeu, has been a reported target for Arsenal this summer and Arsene Wenger admitted on Thursday that he was still hoping to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes.

Ancelotti said. "Di Maria asked to go in the summer and has rejected an offer from the club, The player has to look for a solution.

"If when the transfer market closes he's still here, he will work with us like last season and there will be no problem.”

Ancelotti said of Khedira: "It's a different situation to Di Maria. He's not asked to go. He's rejected an offer to renew, but has a year of contract. We'll see what happens."
