Some more presentation tid-bits:
-- If you skip the lineups at the start, the teams will be shown in a scroll bar at the bottom on the screen, like it does on TV
-- Had the stadium announcer randomly congratulate someone in the ground for getting married in the stadium. Also warned fans about behaviour.
New animations making the game look nice, too.
Haven't had to defend any back post crosses so far. Will tell you my success rate when I do.

Like Jay said, they made these subtle changes to the crowd/atmosphere/stadium/presentations etc. Makes the game more lifelike and immersive, especially with the new animations/celebrations/realistic camera and whatnot

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
Few gamplay/tactical things:
Just noticed my deepest midfielders drop between the centre backs when you start an attack from the back.
Played with PSG for a bit using a diamond. Zlatan was dropping into all sorts of space like he'd do in real life.
Napoli and Dortmund press your backline when its on the ball. Not sure if this is unique to them or if it's something every team does.
Seeing mixed things as far as forward movement goes. Seen some excellent well-timed runs, but have also seen players not moving at all.
I've, so far, yet to concede from a cross to the back post.
Just had two balls on the pitch at the same time after the ball went out for a throw-in. Looks like the multi-ball system is in this year.

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
Not a huge difference between 14 and 15 apart from the presentation and more variety in set pieces. The most obvious changes:
- Defensive AI responds better to lofted through balls.
- Goalkeepers respond more realistically to different situations. They seem to punch the ball more often now, as opposed to catch them but when they punch they try to push the ball to the sides. In 14, half the goals I score in are from poor rebounds (my finishing is shite). Whether goalies are more balanced now than before or not, time will tell.
- It seems a bit more difficult to tackle players now. I was running zig zag with Hazard today and the opponent (my brother) was unable to stop me. It is fun but as a defender it is overwhelming.

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
I've found with most FIFA demos that tackling is difficult. It's usually a bit easier in the full game so I'm not too concerned about it.
A cross came towards my back post, the Napoli player went for a diving header and my defender actually managed to hook the ball away before he could get there. I was shocked.
Loving how compact Anfield is - hopefully that massive gap between the pitch and stands won't be present in PL stadium. Also loving how there a different goal cries from the crowds i.e. "golllllllllllll" for Spanish teams and "yessssss" for English teams.

EPL and La Liga should have different chants for when goals are scored. EPL is a 'yehhhhhhhh', while La Liga is more of a roar cheer.
Finally.

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
I've conceded a decent number of goals at the near post, worryingly enough. Don't think the opposition have been offside yet, either.
Chelsea are actually ridiculous on this game, btw.

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
smh if crosses/headers are still disgracefully easy to exploit i'm not gonna be happy
Simply no skill involved in rushing down the wing and punting it in the box. Makes defending in general feel pointless because no matter what you can and will be exploited

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
Not had a problem defending crosses so far. Almost every goal I've conceded has been a through ball to a striker who then blasts it at 500mph and beats my keeper at the near post.

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
The variety in animation is admirable. FIFA was already ahead of PES in that regard but they have added a ton more animations for various scenarios, especially for goalkeepers but also for situations such as unbalanced clearances and shots.
I also feel I'll slide tackle more this year round. It has been quite rewarding so far and because the player does't just lunge in and commit a foul. Instead the AI will try not to make contact to the player and get the ball instead. I've barely conceded a foul while slide tackling, I even slid a few from behind and to my surprise I got the ball cleanly.

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
The presentation is fap worthy tbh.. I haven't played FIFA 14 on next-gen much so I can't really comment on improvements, but it's way better than FIFA 14 on the PS3..
The AI is smarter and work harder to help you out on D, so you don't gotta do everything yourself

Re: FIFA 15 discussion
Played a few more games before work and I am really enjoying this demo.
I noticed some cool shirt pulling animations. I can't really explain it, but there is just a really awesome feel to this game. Players look/feel like they have their own identity (even when controlled by the computer) and I really enjoy that.
