Ozil should have been subbed off instead of Cazorla. Don't know what Wenger was thinking there

Wenger was thinking that the goalkeeper just got a red card, the opponents have a penalty to take and he has to take off SOMEONE so he could get Fabianski on

Had a poor game. A really nice move to earn the penalty, but after that just a shite performance. The defensive cover he offered on the left was pitiful. He can be a great player when his team is playing well, but is too easy to close out of the game when things get tough. Give me Coutinho any day of the week and twice on gamedays.

Despite not being comfortable defending, Ozil still managed to run more than any other players on the pitch bar two others, one of them being Flamini. So there's clearly no shortage of effort from him, even though he is routinely criticised for apparently not working hard enough.

I do hope he stays away from the penalties, though.

I'm not saying he should come off because he missed a penalty alone, but if it has caused a major drop in performance then he should.

Has he done it i'm pretty sure Ozil's confidence would have dropped for 2 months (easily). I remember Tata saying something like he had to start the same players who played bad and lost the week before otherwise he'd have lost them for the season.

That's easy, Cazorla routinely get's the short end of the stick when it's a him or Ozil/Wilshere decision. It really doesn't matter what type of form Cazorla's in he is always the odd man out and this season he's the best of the three.

he is a comfortable penalty taker usually, however letting him take that one against his buddy Neuer was a bad idea.
and btw, Alaba missed his penalty too, and still I hope he continues to take them, as he's usually great at it. (Müller is our first taker though)

Also keep in mind that I've seen Messi/Villa/Neymar, hell even Ronaldo/Pepe/Ramos all have a go at each other.
