Yeah, I understand you can't bench Ronaldo, but he's already a freak scoring that much from the wing. True poachers are central players that can recieve more varied service than someone playing on the flank.

the starts aren't as skewed as some would believe. It's 27 for Benz and 20 for Higuain... really 26 and 21 since Benz left due to injury at the 12 min mark of the CSKA leg 1 game and Higuain played the rest of it.

PS: It's been even 20-20 since the start of October btw.

ronaldo isnt a gomez like poacher lol .. plus he hads a lot to our counter attacking style specially in the absence of di maria with his pace..

Higuain could easily rack up more goals.

He'll never contribute as much houlistically ,but just terms of goals....he'd probably score more.

BTW Ronaldo deserves to be rotated just like everyone else

Anyone think he could get to Henry's 2002/03 season totals?

He needs 5goals and 6 assists.

Henry 2002/2003(International + Club)

58 games started 3 sub 33 goals 23 assists.

Benzema 2011/12(International + Club)

41 games started 13 sub 28 goals 17 assists.

If he would take all the penalties, free-kicks and would have been our target man, instead of Ronaldo, IMO he would outscore both CR and Messi.

even though i dont really like him, this is just incredible .. eclipsing titi in any season is a great achievement and i think he can do it

I can't decide whether Henry had a better statistical season that year or the year after.

He only had 9 assists the year after but he scored 42 and Arsenal went unbeaten.

Anyway Henry 02/03 is about the closest I could find and theyre pretty similar players so it makes sense.I honestly don't think it means much, goals these days are easy to come by and I think Benz can do alot better with more responsibility and playing time.

The assist part will be tough because the only player that makes consistent runs other than Benz is Higuain, although very differently. Anytime Higuain and Benzema play together, they usually both score and both assist each other. That's not a coincidence as both are very high IQ footy players and can anticipate the other.

Also, remember that Henry was the CR7/Messi of Arsenal... everything ran through him and he started every game. Benz has been in a rotation and injured for 7 weeks... and he's still hitting the numbers.
