Dramatic change of stance from Untransferable a few weeks ago.. With cesc hiding from interviewers adter the friendly game..
How would utd improve with cesc in the old arsenal position? I couldn't think of a more perfect player tbh

He is probably doing this as a pressuring tactics for a pay rise..There is absolutely no footballing reason for Cesc to leave Barcelona for Manutd when he dont even have any competition any more from Thiago.

Unbelievable price tags and flop players asking for more money.

Shouldnt you be playing better than when we signed you for you to get more money?

Anyway, I dont agree, there is a football reason. He isnt first choice and I think he wants to be.

Cesc was never about Money. There are few factors why Cesc wants to move back to London but Money isn't one of them.

I don't see what could have changed from then til now though. Apart from the managerial change, but our interest started before that.

Man Utd give up hope of signing Fabregas, according to Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.

Zubizarreta was quoted as saying: "Manchester United are interested in the player, but it's also true that they understand our position of not wanting to sell.

"They have renounced his signing. We aren't going to sell him."

Zubizarreta was also quoted by Barcelona's official website as saying: "He has a contract with us.

"We count on Cesc. I said that on the day of the presentation of Tito (Vilanova) and also with Tata (new coach Gerardo Martino).

"He's an extraordinary player who creates and finishes chances. We are delighted with him. He's the number four of Barca."
