Bayern haven't shown they are better than dortmund they only have one win in seven games Laughing

But that wasn't what I meant, Dortmund play similar to Mehdrid and its a way that will hurt Barca so they are better equipped to face Bayern. Uefa certainly spotted this hence why they were pitted against the german champions

Barca have had the return leg at home for forever now. Every goddam round they get to play the second leg at Camp Mou.

In fact ONLY once (in 2010-11) vs Shakhtar did they have to play the second leg away in 4 seasons running.

wow. just now realized 3/4 semi finalists are the same from last year.

i dont see dortmund winning it this year because 1. i dont think they will beat madrid again over 2 legs and 2. even if they progress i dont think bayern will choke again.

bayern are more destined to win it than barca was when they beat united.

Does this last 3 CL knockout stages (2011-13) remind anyone of the turn of the century years (1998-2002) when Bayern, United, and Madrid were the dominating forces and the only way to win for one of them was to get past the other two.

It's sort of happening with Bayern, Barca, and Madrid atm.

Barca had to beat Man Utd in 2011, Bayern had to beat Chelsea, so I don't think it quite at that stage yet.

However all 3 teams will stay at a similar/level get stronger in the next few seasons, meaning they could be in the semis every year.
