De Sciglio and Abate

It's been a long time coming, but we finally have our solutions at the full back positions. I believe that Abate and De Sciglio are our long term solutions at the full back position and shouldn't even consider selling either of them. I admit, for a little while I didn't mind the idea of Abate being sold. Now, I don't see this Milan without him. His ability to be energetic and overlap is incredible. As for De Sciglio, he has finally earned his starting spot over Constant and will continue to grow even more. Going forward we need to focus mostly on getting another central defender. Salamon is one solution, but we need someone that can partner him for a decade. I know we have been linked to Ogbonna and Dede. Ogbonna for me would be ideal, but he has a high price. Thoughts?

Shooting crosses is the answer for Abate

It's kind of ironic how all these past years we had shit FBs and really good CBs, and now that we finally have good FBs, we have shit CBs.

But if Galliani can snap up even one good CB next summer, I think we'll be good in defense.

I was a bit skeptical about Abate earlier this season, as he was so piss poor. I even recall saying MDS was better then him back in October. But he's back to form now and performing well.

If only he can improve his crosses

We need to trust Salamon. I don't know if any of you watch Poland, but that kid has got skills.

What kinda skills? Ball playing, offensive or post hitting skills?

DES is a better rb than Abate . Abate has peaked as a player, he is not getting better. If Abate's sold, DES will take his place for club and country. DES is the real deal. Hes' ok as a left back, but wayyy better on the right!

It's probably better to keep both of them anyway.

Abate is one of those players that will be good as long as his physical ability allows him. I can't see him being effective once he passes 30 years old, speed is so much of his game. As soon as he slows down he should be replaced. For now, I like Abate a lot. Let's hope he doesn't slow down.
