Anyone who doesn't use Adblock is a masochist. This is on mobile tho. He is probably browsing the normal website because the other version lags since 1.5 years

They put their refferal link as suggested when you type sites like Binance & Kraken. 2 cryptocurrency exchange sites. Not saying I approve the method but if you ignore a great open source browser over this then good grief

I’ve been using it for nearly 3 years on my phone and can only recommend it for avoding ads and other shitty scripts. Chrome still doesn’t support adblock sadly and IIRC then Firefox mobile browser now support adblock if you prefer that Thimmy.

The best thing about Brave is no longer using things like the youtube app with it’s million ads and instead use the browser where it blocks all of it.

1/ We made a mistake, we're correcting: Brave default autocompletes verbatim "https://t.co/hJd0ePInEw" in address bar to add an affiliate code. We are a Binance affiliate, we refer users via the opt-in trading widget on the new tab page, but autocomplete should not add any code.

And here's where their token (currency) comes to play. You get paid to watch ads if you turn it on. I don't know if there's different ones but the only ones i've encountered are pop up ads like once every hour or 2.

These tokens can then be used to give out to the content creator (youtuber, blogger, forum etc.) where they can cash it out if they like.

For GL to receive these they need to be Brave Verified: https://publishers.basicattentiontoken.org/

All this is still a work in progress.

or rather  I don't care about the " dislike " ,  but I appreciate  very much this addition of the " like "  with written under the name of the name of whoever gives it.

it was a bit ""frustrating" to read that you get  upvotes to a thread but not knowing who did this.
It 's nice both for who receives and who gives it, you feel to show appreciation for a post and you prefer make it known.
