i only get that if I log in on my phone. I don't get it on my pc. a pop up blocker will sort it out for you.

Never get any ads or pop ups myself but i am assuming it's because we talk about football and gambling here a lot as you said and advertisement pick up on key words

I've never browsed the net without adblock, it doesn't stop it

I'll try ublock, always heard it was better, getting pretty annoying, every time you click a page it appears
