|My Sides|

Being a diligent student of science (and the musculature system in this case) I feel the need to complain about something that really has been bothering me. Maybe its my case of OCD but I have a request in which I'm positive others will agree with me.

I've noticed many forum say: "my sides" when finding anything humorous. While I genuinely hope that that what they find to be funny continues to amuse them, I cannot fathom why they refer to their sides when laughing.

Here is just a short list of the major abdominal muscles we use when we laugh. diaphragm
-external oblique abdominis
-internal oblique abdominis
-psoas major
-psoas minor
-pyramidalis
-quadratus lumborum
-rectus abdominis
-transversus abdominis

The only part of our sides we use for laughing is the flax ingulnalis which is just a small conjoined tendon in which helps our abdominals function above the pelvic bone. So in essence you are using NONE of your sides when laughing!

I know there is a filter for curse words and the "Lucas" and "Vagi" so can we add a filter for "my sides" and turn it the filter into "My internal oblique pyramidalis muscles"?

Or if you admins aren't willing to add the filter, can we stress instead of saying "my sides " Just say:

"My 'Interior' abdominal muscles " ?

Not that weird, if you know a subject in depth, it will annoy you that somebody uses the wrong term, instead of the correct one.

But, seriously though, do you think the admins will filter '' my sides '' over that? Just because you don't like it, does not mean they will. If more than half the posters don't like it, then you have a point. I, for one don't mind it, if they filter it or they don't, as it does not bother me, nor have I ever used that term. If I ever do use that term, then I will say '' my abdominal muscles '', so it does not bother you, while reading one of my posts.

I've laughed so hard that the muscles that would be used for say, crunches, started to hurt, but never necessarily my sides. I like the saying though, tbh.

What the hell is the meaning of this? I pour my heart, soul and fingertips onto my keyboard out of a genuine plight to a what I thought was a once generous and loving forum, only to be deceived and castrated of my cyber balls. Never been so trolled hard in my life since my elder brothers caught me soiling my karate pants during a spar when I was 7.

btw Its "my interior abdominal muscles". FFS laughing has nothing to do with our sides! If it hurts then get rid of those love handles.

Quite frankly I'm devastated. If there is any sane mod out there please answer my plight. Not joking.

And yes..erm..this was all part of my plan

We are usually nice to Arq because we he can be used to get inside the world of Calvin Klein modelling but we have to draw the line somewhere.
