Honestly Sports unlike a lot of Newcastle fans i'm not expecting him to come and score goals ( at least not straight away)

I'm expecting him to stretch defences with pace and movement to give space for Cisse to put the ball in the net, anything more would be a bonus to me.

That's if we sign him of course

Well he had 21 goals last year despite being injured... he had 19 the year before when he transitioned to CF. So he's a productive scorer. Not the best assist guy tbh as he tend to b-line towards goal. He's never been that great of a crosser from what i saw at OM. Of course, he played mostly CF there so i didn't see a whole lot of him as a winger.

Well yeah from what i understand he's lightning and has very good off the ball movement so in theory without directly creating for Cisse he should create a lot of space for him.

Which is the possibility i'm most excited about tbh, also i would hope he wouldn't be a winger.

When we played 4-3-3 last season neither Ba or Ben Arfa were wingers so i expect similar.

He would've been a winger if Gignac hadn't flopped so hard to start is career at OM lol. He was played at CF because he was the only one. Brandao was terrible too.

In any case, we shall see. He's training with the team normally so it doesn't look like anything is that imminent.

Real Madrid keeper Iker Casillas has become a surprise target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is growing increasingly frustrated with his options.

Don't know about you RG, but Leitner seems to be more of an AM to me and should replace Perisic.

Lucas, Sahin and an AM would be a good midfield.

Galatasaray have officially begun negotiations with Inter to sign Wesley Sneijder, confirmed a note on the club website.

“Galatasaray officially announce that negotiations have begun for Wesley Sneijder with FC Internazionale,” read the statement.

“Meetings have begun for the transfer of the player. The media will be informed of developments.”

The Turkish side had already hinted at their interest when President Unal Aysal met with Inter patron Massimo Moratti this afternoon.
