Re: January Transfer Rumours
What do you think of Sao Paulo striker Osvaldo, Catracho?
I've seen him only a few times and he looks tidy enough, but we are heavily linked with him now. I personally don't think we need another striker though.

Kinda surprised by this rumor. He's real short.. 5'6, but very fast and explosive on the ball.. he's not a #9, but more of a Bojan. A great substitute and a real change of pace player. He's a complimentary player, playing really well along side Luis Fabiano or Ademilson/Willian Jose

How is Taison? Never heard of him or watched him play before. Dunno where these rumours about a transfer to Chelsea originated from?

True enough. If we really want him though, I'm sure we could meet Sao Paulo's asking price.

Does he play centrally or can he play on the flank?

I know Arsenal is interested in Zaha (and so does Ian Holloway), but that strikes me as a lot for the young attacker. £12 million is a lot to drop on a 20 year-old who has yet to prove himself in a top league, much less in European competition.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Sneijder: I won’t sign Inter deal
Wesley Sneijder has released a brief statement in which he has underlined that he won’t sign a reduced wage contract at Inter.
The club want the player, who has been left out of the side in recent weeks, to accept a cut in his €6m salary in return for a longer deal – from 2015 to 2016 – at San Siro.
Sneijder and his agent met with club officials on Monday to discuss the situation, but the player has made it clear that he won’t put pen to paper on the proposed terms.
“At this moment in time I have no reason to sign,” the former Real Madrid man commented. “How can I accept a new contract under these conditions when I am not even playing?
“As it stands, my decision is to not sign for Inter.”
Sneijder’s decision will come as a blow to the club and President Massimo Moratti who, earlier today, was hopeful that a resolution would be reached.
“I’m convinced that, with good sense, there can be a solution,” Moratti told Sky Sport Italia. “There is a certain amount of satisfaction from Inter, now it is up to the player.”
The midfielder hasn’t played since he was asked to accept a cut, but Moratti insists he has not been frozen out of the side.
“He’s one of our players and he will play, or is at least available, for the Coach and for me. But he’ll play when he is ready and not because his name is Sneijder.”
