A bit too early ?

Well we're are done with almost 70% of the transfer activity for this season..But there are still some clubs who have barely kickstarted their transfer campaigns..Although a minority in this case.

Rodgers suggested we could play with false 9 at times...so I refrain from making any predictions

I can name the back 5 with confidence, though Skrtel is strongly linked with City

The rest, I don't know other than Lucas, Luis, and Stevie

I'd rather De Rossi and Bradley switch positions, that seems like a very channeled Role for De Rossi, with the ambidextrous long passing range he exhibited when given time on the ball and his performances at CB I think he should be given some more freedom to act somewhat as a play maker and quasi CB when neccesary.

That somewhat limits the goal scoring potential in his game but I think it's as close to maximizing his potential as a player as I see in this system.

I agree in principle, as De Rossi has always excelled bursting forward from deep to either float through a lofted pass, hit a long range strike or time a late run into the box. However, the reason for me putting him further up is that Zeman doesn't see him as a DLP-cum-destroyer of the Xabi Alonso variety. He sees DDR strictly as a B2B that will work his socks off and influence the game in both boxes. The same is expected of Pjanic or any other midfielder who comes in that spot. He wants cultured, technically sound midfielders who can facilitate the flow of the ball all over midfield over just mindless, headless physically fit chickens.

Bradley adds a foundation to this tactic as well. And very much like De Rossi, he's perfectly capable and aware of when to pick a pass from deep, time his runs late into the box and strike from distance. I've mentioned previously that he's essentially the American De Rossi in that regard. He will have that same job in our midfield basically that he has for USA and it's his to lose since Zeman could always switch them if it doesn't work out.

It's complicated.

Maybe Kuba for Großkreutz with Reus switching to the left. Maybe Kehl for Bender, but hopefully not.
