Interesting. I'm particularly intrigued by Totti as and out-and-out striker. I didn't think he'd played that position for a while now, dropping a bit deeper as he is 35...

Is there a reason you went 4-3-3? I would think a 4-2-3-1 suits your players better.

Courtois
Azpilicueta Zouma CB* Baba/Ake
Matic
Fabregas Nainggolan/Asamoah
Willian Costa Hazard

CB will likely be one of Koulibaly, Manolas, Benatia or Stones.

Buffon
Barzagli Bonucci Chiellini
Litchsteiner Khedira Marchisio Pogba Sandro
Dybala Mandzukic

Not a lot of change hmm
Although Barzagli at some point has to stop getting better so Rugani will be there 50/50.
With Marchisio's long injury will sign someone that will play his spot for half a season as well.

Mignolet
Clyne - Matip - Lovren - Moreno
Can - Henderson
Lallana/New - Firmino - Coutinho
Origi

Bench:
Karius
Gomez
Lucas
Chilwell
Zielinski
Markovic/Lallana
Ings

I fully expect Sturridge to pick up some mid-to-long term injury at the Euros. And I don't think Klopp will immediately throw Karius into the starting XI even if he is intended to be our starting keeper before the end of the season. Phase him in, allow him to find his feet in cups and such, then bring him into the starting team after an injury or screw-up for Mignolet.

Enrique is gone, and Bogdan, Skrtel, Kolo, Allen, and Benteke look likely to follow for one reason or another, while several of the big names already out on loan don't appear to have much of a future either (Balotelli, Wisdom). Personally, I'd offer Kolo and Allen new deals but I don't think the former will be offered one and I doubt the latter would/will accept anyway, as he'll want to find somewhere he can start regularly. With that much experience leaving the squad I think we'll hold onto Lucas for at least one more season, especially since he now appears to be cover for both CDM and CB, which will be handy while Sakho is suspended (dear footballing gods please let that be only a 6 month suspension).

Grujic and Matip are already coming in and Klopp has stated that Markovic will be given the chance to prove himself upon his return from loan. Our primary targets according to basically all reports and especially reliable ones are: Karius, Chilwell/Back-up LB, Zielinski/Dahoud, and of course Matio Götze.

As for a big name or major signing (Götze or otherwise)... call me a pessimist or a skeptic or whatever but I'm not sure it'll materialize based on current evidence.

so out of 4 new signings you only expect 1 to make it into the team. I don't see the point in getting shot of a load of fringe players only to sign more fringe players. the team needs improving before the squad.

If what RO posted is anywhere remotely true we might as well give up on the season right now. As likely as that seems, I'll be very disappointed.

Karius
Clyne - Matip - Sakho* - Hector
Can - New CM
New RW - Goetze - Coutinho
Sturridge/Origi

Mignolet
Flanno - Gomez/Ilori - Lovren* - Moreno
Hendo - Zielinski/Grujic
Markovic/Ibe - Firmino - Lallana/Ojo
Ings

*If Sakho's suspension is long, then obviously Lovren.

Given we're selling Balotelli & Benteke, and Sturridge is injury prone like a 2 cent hooker we have to sign 2 attackers. Goetze by himself won't be enough. Which is why I got the New RW there. Hoping for HBA on a free.

New CM is self explanatory. No way can we go another *bleep* year without any actual quality signing there. Zielinski and Grujic again are just 2 kids.

---------------Lopez
Gaspar---Bailley--Ruiz---Marin
JDS-------Bruno----Trigueros----Sarabia
-----------Rossi----?(Afif)

Sarabia is closely linked, we're likely to get him. Diego Lopez had some minor links over the past few months, would make sense considering Areola is on loan. Overall we're covered in defense, Musacchio might leave but thats ok. Denis Suarez will be redeemed, and Bakambu will probably get sold. There are links that Vietto might come back on loan which is nice, supposedly he's unhappy. Rossi, will be signed as well for 4-5m, Fiore don't want him back apparently. Overall decent additions if they happen, still need 1 CB (Hopefully not Espinosa) and another pacey ST in the mould of Bakambu

Also, great story on Akram Afif, Qatar's brightest prospect, he'll supposedly see first team football next season at 19, plays striker but can also play on the wings. He's touted as the next biggest thing in the ME, has a higher ceiling than Al-Heidous, Al-Dossari and Omar Abdulrahman

Hala's lineup is much more realistic.Cant see Real changing almost their entire midfield spine.
If Perez wants to buy a galactico,it will be for the GK position.
When the ban ends and Penaldo leaves, thats when heavy changes will be made imo.

How is this most 'likely'? Since when do we play a double pivot?

And why does Mathieu start all of a sudden?
