The bravest thing I saw was Gyan stepping up to take the first penalty in the shootout after missing a last minute penalty vs Uruguay.

Crying or Very sad Jody Cradock starting for Sunderland at the SOL a couple of days after his baby son died of cot death. It was a really emotional game, all the fans had took flowers and they were laid all around the ground. Poor bloke doesnt have much luck his 2 and a half year old son was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia.

Last season Michael Turner made one of the most sacrificial clearences I have ever seen.

He went sliding on his arse, managed to hook the ball off the line and came to a stop with his legs either side of the post. It was a case of what a clearence followed by What a Face thats going to hurt. He was out for about 6 months with a groin injury.
