Ozil to become one of the best ever

Can he ? If he wins WC and Euro ? Will he be recognized one of the best ever in 10 years if he continues to develop ?

Yeh.

The thing is currently a lot of people think Ronaldo is our best player, he is, but other people prefer Benzema/ Ozil/other players.

Ozil needs to show the team won't work without him when he's playing. He plays AM, so he can do that, unlike Ronaldo who's mainly a poacher and doesn't offer much aside from goals.

He needs to maybe drop deeper so he can get involved more. He needs to score more too.

Hopefully he gets better next season.

He doesn't need to score more.....what's up with this newfound reverence for stats.......Zidane is a GOAT despite scoring a goal about every 10 games.

He's a facilitator, his playing style means that he won't score tons of goals , I don't see how many goals he scores being relevant in his evaluation.

way too premature, he hasnt even won the euro and you are already talking euro + wc.

hes basically at the beginning of his career cant make any of these types of calls.

Ronaldo isn't a poacher.. really MT.

If he helps Germany to win the Euro or at least lead them to final, i can see him as a potential candidate for Ballon d'Or.

Long way to go but he can be.
