Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu: Real Madrid x Galasataray

It's finally going to be Galasataray coming to Madrid to play the Trofeo Bernabeu. It was previously offered to Schalke and then Besiktas that accepted but had to pull out because of the CL prelims. So no Guti, no Raul for this season, a shame.

Great opportunity to branch out full swing to the turkish market, you can be sure Ozil and Sahin will be playing and most likely Altintop as well. Gives voice to the visit of Ronaldo in turkey last week (i remember seeing the directrice of comm of RM accompanying him i think).

Interesting game I want to see just how good turkish teams are because I never watch them.

I only know Arda Turan from Galasataray and he is quality.

they are pursuing Reyes and Forlan as well, so we might see familiar faces.

I was reading that Reyes recently turned down a move to Galatasaray.

They actually have quite a few quality players

Lorik Cana (formerly of Marseille)
Milan Baros (although a bit of a hot and cold career)
Thomas Ujfalusi (new signing)

and of course as already mentioned the awesome, Arda Turan (Who I can never seem to sign on PES).

Turan is the only player that would actually give us trouble. The rest are meh

I was just thinking about the commercial complexity of your nike-ad Avatar. CR7 has a nike boot sponsorship, but Adidas Kit sponsorship; and Messi has an Adidas boot sponsorship and Nike kit sponsor.

Why are you guys being so negative about Galasataray, it's one of the team in turkey with the most history, half of Istanbul. he Trofeo Santiago bernabeu is supposed to reach out to that kind of team, we arent supposed to play arsenal or chelski.

You saw the kind of reaction turkish fans had when ronaldo visited, and we now have Sahin and Ozil in the same team, it's a great vantage point to get that area of europe excited about RM.

Turkey is a massive country with 70+M people, after germany the biggest in "europe", they are fan fanatics, how isnt that a great opportunity?

We are not a business machine, we are a football club.
And as a fan, I don't want to see us play a subtop's number 8.

Galasataray is a club with history in turkey, a legendary club. They are going through a rough patch, it doesnt make them irrevelant.
