Bought some boosters with VC in MyTeam and got John Stockton, Dell Curry, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, and the rest was mostly garbage.

Dell Curry has to be the best shooter in the entire game. 94 3-point, 90 mid range.

And Abdul Rauf is an absolute beast; fast as hell, midrange is deadly, can shoot the 3, drive.

This probably should be in the NBA thread, but does anyone remember this dude? Beast.

Oh one question guys. Shooting settings.

Do you have it set to real life or shot stick?

I have it real life because I find shot stick too easy and you can master it with certain players to an extent that it becomes fake.

I don't use the stick, just 'square' and I got it set to release time or whatever.. Not real life percentage

The game is too arcadish on all default. Shoot too high of a %, CPU scores wayyy too many points in the paint, threes are too easy to make, and before the patch fixed it, it was those ridiculous insta-fastbreaks by the CPU that are impossible to stop.

The CPU still scores a lot in the paint, but I get much more realistic FG percentages on all-star w/ sliders

I think the new patch fixed that up? Its harder to shoot, offensive rebounds are taken down a notch too.. If anything I choose simulation instead of default, I don't adjust the individual sliders.. Maybe for one or two things

Anyway, I was drafted in MyCareer as No.16 to the Rockets as a SG. I started off at 63 and my shot was HORRIBLE lol. BUt atm my stats are at 21.7ppg/4.6rpg/6.7apg. I'm 60 games in and I'm leading the race for ROTY by a considerable margin

However, I still come off the bench. Why? Because Harden is the starting SG. I could complain to the GM and have him traded and what have you but I'm leading the race for 6th Man OTY so I want to win that award.

I've been using all my SPs to upgrade my "Shot Medium", "Shoot In Traffic", "Shot Close", "Shot Inside", "Layup", "Defensive Rebound", "Shoot off Dribble" and "Free Throws". I just wanted to upgrade the areas where I knew I could score and rebound. My passing was decent from the start so I couldn't be bothered about that.

I also like the Social Media feature. I had about 380,000 fans at one point and then after a game where I had 33/8/9, they made a "Where Amazing Happens" commercial for me and also put me on the cover of DIme Magazine. After that my number of fans went up to about 580,000+

I'm enjoying every bit of it so far. Signed with Nike and it doesn't allow me wear any other brand of shoes

And btw, I still can't dunk and I only hit 3pt shots occasionally so I only take it in rhythm occasionally.

I use him as my ball handler at least 50% of the time. 35% CP3 and then the other 15% anyone else(Bledsoe maybe).

Me too. Iguodala gets in foul trouble every other game from reaching in. They need to tone it down, it doesn't happen that much in the NBA.

Rosters finally upgraded some players. Harden went up 2 points I believe, Drummond is now a 70, Brook Lopez went up also I believe.

I got 2 MyCareers going right now.. one a 6'2 athletic PG. I got drafted by the Rockets in the 1st round, pretty lame since they have Lin but I guess lots of teams have above average PG's. So I eventually outplay him, get in the starting lineup, then I ask the GM to trade him so we can get frontcourt help. Dude says no, so I ask for a trade He asks me 3 teams to pick and he'll see what he can do. So soon after they trade me to the Pistons. I figure Drummond+Monroe = profit. But Drummond doesn't even play now that I got traded there, not even in the rotation . Kravtsov is higher up in the rotation.

Terrible lineup management lol.

Mycareer: I get to the playoffs as a 7 seed in East with Detroit, we beat the Knicks in 6 games(hit a buzzer beater to win game 2, feltgoodman). Then get swept by Miami. In the offseason, Detroit signs Chris Paul(realism at its finest : p )

So now we have 2 90+ overall PGs, and Im forced to play SG at 6'2 fml.

Okay. Are you thinking we pick teams and then a fantasy draft? We should probably get input on quarter times too. I'm good with anything 5-10. Difficulty as long as it's All-Star or higher is whatever as well. I guess Superstar or All-Star is what I'd prefer.

I'm thinking we do a fantasy serpentine draft, so that anyone can get "equal" teams, since Miami, Lakers and OKC are kind of overpowered atm.
