I'm unstoppable in this game with Steph Curry, averaged 38.3ppg and 15.1assit in my first season in Association Mode....won MVP and I'm in the playoffs right now facing the Mavs, it's a scoring contest between Curry and Nowitzki

I just recently started playing the 'My Player Mode' for the first time ever.. Didn't even play it in 2K11 lol.. All I played was online or against friends when we get together and I gotta say I was missing out!

Got an A+ at the rookie showcase (27 pts 12 rbs and 7 ass 2 steals) and got drafted 7th by the Kings, should of went 1st though since I dominated .. I'm a 6'9'' 255 pound shooting guard/beast ready to take the league from LeBron

Depends on your performance I think and the other guys in the same position on your team. What's your overall?

I just started lol.. I'm like 64 right now.. Just got drafted #7 to the Kings..

Do you only play 'big games' ?

Nah I tried to play all the games, but the big games give you the most XP so that's not a bad strategy. I figure once you're around a 70 you should be starting.

How many big games are there a season though? like 20/82 lol? I would like to gain as much points as possible right now..

I'm matched up against Kobe right now and they want me to hold him to under 6 pts .. These objectives are so lame, I wish I could just play freely and not have to worry about them

Lmao yeah some of them are ridiculous. Having to guard any of LeBron, Durant, Kobe, Melo, etc is just ridiculous esp. when your rating isn't up yet. Not sure what position you are but as a SF, I would always try to crash the boards and just get easy points. Also put points into consistency if you have a good jumpshot, it helps a lot.

Also you can call for a pick and roll, and just pass to the guy rolling to basket. Usually gets you an easy assist. But the main strategy should be just trying to get an A every game and that should get you points.

How do I call for a pick and roll or any play actually? I've been pressing the D-Pad like you do outside of 'My Player' but nothing happens?

I think it's LB/L1. Also set lots of screens for your teammates, that will also get your game rating up. I believe it's B on Xbox.

I don't get many minutes right now... I'm scoring a lot but barely getting any rebounds or assists lol

Swagg, Yeah I am ps3, It usually take My "My Player" player (sounds stupid) about 10-15 games to start i think, so i usually play all the games until i start. Normally i get 2 more minutes per game, i wont start if the team already has a star at my position though.

Did you guys get the cover of 2K magazine also? Is it generic or do you get these things in merit?

I had to start the game again a few days ago(because I formatted my PC....don't ask me. ). 13th pick by the Suns. Started out averaging about 12-15mins per game. Also started out averaging about 8PPG.....then I exploded.

Since then I haven't scored less than 25 in a game. Scored 40+ three times. 50 once. 30+ multiple times. My minutes increased but only to about 22mins per game, which is quite annoying considering I lead the entire team in scoring.

I'me averaging about 17PPG now and have played about 44 games. 67 rating SG.
