You want a kid with little experience to play DM when he is much less technically gifted than both Lass or Pepe? That would be nuts. If we are going to play a CB as a DM, we should just push Pepe forward. Varane needs to concentrate on becoming a Madrid CB... that's his future.

Just some theory crafting, never seen the kid play. All I know is he can play both CB and DM.

ah well

We have a ridiclous amount of quality CBs anyway, apparently he was ours till we had to move for Jones.
If he gets games then its the right move cause theres no way hed get near our 1st team.

Usually, Mou doesn't buy people for the reservist role. If we get him, he'll be used in first team at some point, I'm sure. Forget the loaning option Very Happy

So could this guy be loaned out, then brought in to acclimatise and develop, so by the time he is ready he can replace Pepe? Remember, Pepe is already like 27 and pretty cranky, relies on speed and strenght a lot, not hating on him lol but by the age of 30 Varane might be better.
