Roma will play Liverpool in a friendly at Fenway Park on July 25, as both clubs are owned by Boston investors.

Giallorossi majority shareholder Thomas Di Benedetto is also part-owner of the Fenway Sports Group, the parent company of both Liverpool and Boston Red Sox.

“During its 100-year history, Fenway Park has hosted some of the best in athletic competition,” said Fenway Sports Group’s principal owner John Henry.

“A match between Liverpool and AS Roma – two of the world's most well-known and respected clubs – is an appropriate way to help celebrate Fenway's 100th anniversary and showcase our ballpark to an international audience.”

Both Roma and Liverpool are set for summer tours of North America.

Great to hear. Would love to see Gerrard and Totti finally clash. God I wish I lived in the east coast.

I was under the impression that the US tour was likely to be canceled due to Europa League qualifiers.

Dammit, They promised a tour in India.

Unless something falls on a weekend, I doubt I'm going to be able to go. Boston is relatively close to me and as such a great location for a friendly, but I doubt I want to take leave just to watch a friendly.

I know I'm likely to be going alone, but I don't care, lol.

It's on July 28th which is a Saturday with kick-off at 1PM. Couldn't have been more perfect. Going to get my ticket tomorrow.

Well, I have my ticket booked. Unfortunately don't have too many friends here since I'm new here, and no one I know cares enough about soccer to come out and watch.

Either way, watching LFC play live is something I've been wanting to do for the longest time and an opportunity like this will probably never present itself like this.

Can't wait.

I should clarify if you haven't read the thread, the ticket is for the Liverpool - Tottenham game close to me in Baltimore. (Not the Roma game in Boston)

I bought them off ticket master before they went on general sale.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you have any information about tickets for the game at Fenway. I know they go on sale this Saturday but I'm having a bit of trouble finding out how to get them (meaning through which site). Any info would be great.

Looking forward to this game, would love to see Totti vs. Gerard.
