Overrated ??

Kolarov : 27 match / 3 goals since his arrival in england

I heard he was awesome in Serie A , i recognize he is good at free-kick and his cross are good

But overall i was really expecting him to be WC level

Cost 22 millions euros

lol he was never going to meet 22million expectations. we bought Dossena for 7-8mill (supposedly best LB in Serie A that year)

everything was fine until i read 22 M

Hes a good player. He isnt overrated, he is just overpriced..much like alot of Citys squad.

Market cost of player - 5 Million
City pay for player - 20 Million

News flash, City had to overpay certain players to go to City when they weren't in the CL.

PSG will have to do the same and Liverpool to some extent now as well it's pretty standard.

City had to give big salaries and transfer fee's to get players to go there in the beginning because they were a mid table English team and lots of big teams were going after these players.

I think the strategy paid off pretty well don't you?

And BTW, I will take Kolarov on BArca any day of the week. I really like him as a player and FYI, 3 goals in 27 games is very good for a full back switching leagues and you left out his 5 assists as well, I'm sure that was a mistake.

Exactly. Rating LB's by goals scored. What the hell is going on these days... LB's expected to finish well now or they are not 'complete' players?

Even if it looks like, i wasn't pointing out his goal ratio . 3 goals is more than enough. But , The same way i'm hearing VArgas and Jovetic being so good by the ones who are watching them week and week out , iwas expecting to be WC . he is good , just good

Well Inter were offering 10m for him before he moved to city so i assume his fair price should be in that range

havent seen much of him overall, so cant comment objectively


but his set pieces are really good, gave them a point at home against napoli

Impressed me more than Clichy, best LB for MAn C...not sure about 22M though
