Real Madrid need a captain fantastic

Real madrid needs an on-field captain that can ginger the team to strength. Casillas is too calm and deep on the pitch and we need an on-field captain to put the team together. People of such ability are pepe,alonso. Whats your take.

its alonso regardless of the RM captain system which is based on time spent at the club not leadership.

this section is becoming more and more like the juventus section everyday.
If casillas has been captain for the past several years it would obviously mean that every coach to have coached us has found that hes great at what he does.
Iker is not replacable not as captain nor goalkeeper.
If you have been watching Real Madrid play you will also realise that Alonso bosses the midfield and players and acts like the onfield captain.

I agree hate GK captains, as fantastic as iker is.
Get out of the box to argue-yellow card
Get out of the box to calm your team down-potential yellow
I get the senority buisness but it makes no sense giving the cataincy to a GK. Should be someone in mid-field ala Alonso.
But yh I think Ramos, Marcelo, Alonso or even Cristiano would be a better choice.

Saint Iker is a champion, but Ramos would be better as a captain.

Its not looked at that way.. A captain in football is a big deal.. That's why players regularly refer to former captain's as "my captain"

Let's be honest, the armband doesnt give super powers, nor leadership skills.
Our field leaders are Alonso, and Ramos who happens to be the second captain. They have leadership skills, and they make use of them

Those who practiced football really know what a simple armband means.
The captain gives instructions, boosts his team, argues with the referee, denies stupid acts... Football is a group work which need a Leader.
Captain in NT is something.
IMO, the captain shouldn't be a GK, but this doesn't mean Iker is bad at his leadership duty.
