Re: Yaya Toure; Laziest Footballer of all time
Misses the discipline he had with us.
Was so concentrated, was so disciplined, so...just a monster. The freedom he has now has given him the freedom to show his entire game, but doesnt excell at the defensive side like he did with us.
Dont understand the lazy tag though.

Re: Yaya Toure; Laziest Footballer of all time
of course, how can he play when its such bad weather!!
he looked so discomforted by the rain and looked like it was the reason why he played with such anger and lazyness

Don't think he ever tracks his man...which cost City their first goal.
He generally walks in most games, but his goals cover for his total lack of work-rate

Re: Yaya Toure; Laziest Footballer of all time
I felt Clichy getting owned in the corner was just as much to blame, but yeah, as I said he lost his defensive discipline.
He once played for us needing a back op for a slipped disc, I dont think its an enternal lack of spirit that is his problem.
He won everything, getting silly money, doesnt have to be a defensive midfielder anymore and his team is still winning...dont think he has the defensive heart he had for us.

Re: Yaya Toure; Laziest Footballer of all time
Yea he is either lazy or has poor fitness which is something I noticed the minute he came to City
apparently one of the reasons Wenger didnt sign him was because Arsene thought he didnt have the fitness to play CM
still a beast though

Re: Yaya Toure; Laziest Footballer of all time
We should be bashing Clichy though, his defensive quality is a joke!! Maybe he will do better playing as a left winger! Thats the last of him I hope, I prefer Kolarov by miles.
And for Yaya, he werent at his best today, much like most Man C players...very disappointing...and the X'mas period will be difficult, with damn Man U 2 poitns behind now...
Well done to Chelsea though...they always perform when their backs are against the wall....and watching Drogba keeping the ball at the end, so frustrating but yet hes so good at it I felt strange watching this game, 2 of my favourite teams in the league...

I don't think Yaya was trying to hit him, I think he was just trying to pat him on the head as a truce and Mata was still heated.Gil wrote:

Clichy did get raped, but Yaya lost track of Merieles' run, which was something he was supposed to be tracking.
