Arbeloa Varane Albiol Coentrao (Mendes available as sub)
Granero or Altintop Sahin (Granero or Altintop, whoever doesn't start in for 2nd half, Alonso on bench if needed)
Di Maria Kaka Callejon (Ozil on bench if needed, Jesse likely to get in in 2nd half)
Higuain / Benz (one starts, the other gets 2nd half)

I don't necessarily agree that Lass and Khedira start for Classico just because they have stayed in Madrid. Lass primary position right now is RB. This is about giving him a rest and seeing if Arbeloa is fit enough for Classico.

I think what Mou will be planning is the high tempo pressing game in first half with likely Khedira Xabi and Ozil in starting line-up. Assuming we get a first half lead with this he goes to the 3 MFs (Lass coming on) for 2nd half. Given what Babun said earlier re their likely line-up, this sounds like a very good strategy.

I'd add another choice; win in a close game (but not suffer).

70 min Jese in for Benz OR Higuain, whoever is not substituted is not gonna play vs Barca

Its gonna be nice to see Benzema and Higuain play together again, and Jese should get some minutes. Im looking forward to this, but it is a virtually no pressure game.

Any chance you guys could let Ajax win? I want to see them go through to the knock-out rounds.

A Lyon win and an Ajax loss would put them level on points. Both games between them were 0-0 draws, so Lyon could go through on GD if Ajax don't get a result and there's a decent swing in goals (which is never out of the question with Madrid).

Even a draw would solidify Ajax's standing.

hmm, ajax havent scored against us in two season iirc

if they could hold us to a draw then that would be a big achievement for them imho

not to mention some of the guys playing today will want to prove their worth to Mou such as granero etc so a fierce tie is not out of the pic

anyways all i want is jese to score, that kid deserves a goal, vanilla ice man has got his fair share of goals, now let him hand over the podolski powers to our young boy and i will be a happy bunny
