Poor form and confidence, only the home factor can win it for them.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
Do you think they'll play a solid team and try and win the FA cup this season? Or do you think they'll rest players for other priorities? They are, after all in the title hunt and are still in the CL.*
*They're obviously not going to get passed Bayern but I can't see them resting players in Europe, that'll just embarass them / drop morale even further. Doesn't show much intent to fans/players either.

I think wegner is going to go hard, CL is a big no-no for them, and i wouldn't be surprised if he felt the tittle was slipping. He needs a saving grave and the fa cup is one, plus it would be a massive boost if they could beat the team that made them look like sunday league players, revenge will be on their mind.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
That makes sense. Hope their players are tired though, and suffer from fatigue. Giroud definitely is. But they have a lot of depth in their midfield. Is Flamini back for this one?
I hope we beat them, I'd really like to see a trophy this season.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
Wouldn't know about flamini tbh, heard ozil played shit today, so that's a plus, just hoping the boys know were away and it ain't gonna be easy street for us, wouldn't be too surprised if we lost, arsenal away is never an easy game, esp for us.

Yeah, I think it'll be a full-strength Arsenal side, especially after what happened at Anfield. Mind you, they've got the sort of squad that they can rotate a bit and still call it full-strength.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
To be fair, we always turn it up when it comes to cup games. I think everyone knows my thoughts on our away performances this season but I'm always confident when it's a domestic cup fixture and we actually play a full strength side. There's a different shift in attitude, and we turn it up a gear. And I think we'll play a strong side if you look at the team we put up against Bournemouth. We're taking the FA cup serious.
And Flamini will be a great "in" for them. They lack a defensive midfielder. Arteta is in very average form, and to be fair to him, he's never really been a defensive midfielder anyway. We went through Arsenal's midfield so easily last week, and it's because they lacked that steel / leadership that Flamini brings. Wilshere tried to show, but he's still very immature as a player himself and lost his head.
I didn't watch the Ars-MU game, but I heard Ozil was okay. But then again, most Arsenal fans were defending his performance against us, so who knows what to think.

Cricket?
Joke of a sport. Footy is back ffs. Even if it's a petty competition in the NAB cup.

Can't stand the BS from the AFL and NRL nowdays on it's hate against football, kinda turning me off them as a sport, still ganna be keeping a distant eye on how the swans do, now with buddy and all.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
It's the only "decent" sport in Victoria. You're only into league if you're from NSW/QLD. Used to be somewhat big, but ever since that salary cap issue with the Storm, it's gone down hill here.
Buddy and Tippett, that forward line. Think the "bloods" will win the premiership this year. Far too much goals in the side.

If we are to progress let's hope S'land get City. City can't seem to beat them.

Re: FA Cup Thread.
If we do progress I hope we get an Anfield game in quarter finals and City get an away match. Preferably to the winner of Everton/Swansea or Sunderland.
If we get past Arsenal think we'll win this.
