Most overrated NT in the World?

Brazil may not have the individuals players they had before but Dunga's team was a monster.

It's a shame dirty dutch eliminated them. I think they would have had a solid chance against Spain.

Dunga was an idiot,i find it quite hilarious how everyone outside of Brazil loved his team so much and every single brazilian hates him.We are not made for counter attacking football,that moron kept calling up melo even though everyone was warning him of how much of a nutcase the guy is.He used Michel Bastos as a LB The worst part was him leaving Ganso out and brought only 2 AMs to the WC.Did i say 2?It was just one actually since Kaka had to play injured due to him not calling up decent midfielders and then against Holland we had no AMs since both Elano and Kaka were injured,even though Kaka still played.


About Holland,i was quite annoyed on how they went through with 2 setpieces but oh well...

He was not an idiot, he left some problematic players out to build a coherent team. Brazil ripped Holland apart in the first half and after they simply choked under pressure and dutch dirtyness. But he had won federation cup and copa america.

I understand brazilians fans want samba football but Dunga's team impressed team much more than the current brazilian team.

as i said before,we have had like 2-3 games with our best players.we played with our b team in every big game so far.Its only right to start judging us from now on.

Dunga's team got results, won two tournaments and he was unfortunate to be knocked out in the quarter final of the World Cup. Melo's a ticking time bomb, but he's also a good player, it's not enough to just say that it was Dunga's fault for picking him. His selection was poor for the World Cup, but he was still an effective coach. It's not like Mano's selections have been perfect, in fact they're far from it.

Mano's current selection is perfect actually....

And i said he would have parked the bus and lost the game due to the red card.I will give Dunga credit far the USA final and the Egypt game,which were truly amazing.But if Melo was a time bomb(the press and fans were pressuring Dunga about him not starting for ages) he simply shouldn't use him in a world cup,you simply cant take risks.you also dont use a winger as a LB(Michel's foul on Robben led to a goal).

His selections were ridiculous for months and the squad now is very young as opposed to perfect. It doesn't excuse the previous neglect of the likes of Hernanes and Marcelo. Exclusions like that hurt the development of the team when you only have a set amount of time to work in and reaching the right call up doesn't excuse past mistakes, only making up for lost time does.

I've often found it bizarre how people blame the person who gave away a foul for a goal which results from the set-piece.

Is it being suggested that a true left back doesn't give away freekicks? Why is he being criticised for playing Bastos in that position because a foul he gave away led to a set-piece where Cesar and Melo acted like giant infants on a football pitch? A failure to individually take responsibility for your role in defending a set piece cost Brazil twice. When centre backs let a midget get a free header from two yards out in the box it's not the fault of the coach. Something in their heads should be pointing out the danger of this to themselves.

As for Melo, he's a calculated risk, however hindsight is 20-20 as they say. He'd done well for Dunga at the Confederations Cup and as such, the coach rewarded him.

Tactically speaking Dunga's team was very good.

Belgium gonna be good once they mature

Some people on this forum thought Belgium was going to qualify when they didn't even have a chance anymore.
