City have inquired according to Balague (And before bashing him, he knows his stuff about Spanish football most of the time). Probably to replace De Jong who's contract talks have stalled.

De Jong's contract talks stalled, are they asking him to take a pay cut or something? I can't imagine De Jong thinking he'd be better off elsewhere.

de jong isnt making as much money as some of you think.
remember, he and Komapany were mad as hell when city bought aguero and nasri and paid them those huge wages when they are the backbone of the team and are way more important to city but make alot less in comparison.
