When someone makes a clean challenge the other team dives. When one makes a bad tackle they complain and bitch about bad refereeing. Both of the teams play like crap i dont care for the scoreline i care for the football on display and i can't watch football like that and im sure there are alot of people that don't like it aswell.

There was football on display ffs. The diving and crying was all from the Barca players.

Not like it was all diving. There were great moments and goals.

derbies schmerbies... man utd - liverpool is supposed to be the biggest derby in england but the game was absolutely awful for the first 80 minutes... that's why i prefer watching small teams play, much more excitement tbh

You know, the hype is irrelevant once you are not a Madrid or Barca fan.

The same could be said of the Liverpool-Manchester and definitely Schalke-Dortmund who I know 99% of the people here have not watched, ever. The hype and atmosphere are just as large, if you are a fan of those teams.

As a neutral, I watch it for the game itself.

I do agree with whoever said smaller team derbies are usually more entertaining than big team derbies, though. They just have less to lose and usually open up, hence more entertaining matches.
