Well Jovetic has a reported buyout clause of 30m..I think they wont deal with anything less than 25m.

Chelsea are also seriously interested..Could spark a bidding war i would say.

Signing an SS in Jovetic than a CF in Robert would make more sense.

He's demanding 8-9m per year..That is just too much,2-3 more than our highest earner in Buffon and we are not going to break our wage barrier for him.

Info: Stevan Jovetić is 22 & plays for Montenegro (20 caps, 9 goals). He scored 14 goals in 27 Serie A games for Fiorentina last season.

LOL,i dunno why you would want Melo..Fcking slow as hell and has temper issues,albeit a decent destroyer though..

We're desperately trying to get rid of him..

Matri is not a top level striker..He isnt good enough for a top club like Arsenal imo.

Pasquato has already been sold to Udinese in a co-ownership deal..

I'm not completely sold of Lewondowski just yet. He had a great season last year, but every time I've seen him he seems to waste a lot of chances.

Dortmund aren't going to sell, anyway. They had their hand forced with Kagawa since he only had a year left on his deal (hey, that sounds familiar), but that's not the case with Lewondowski. We're probably looking at £20mil+, and with Giroud and Podolski already here, that's unnecessary.

Jovetic is an interesting one, since he can play in deeper positions, but again, I can't see us forking out the £20mil+ it'd take to get him.

Lewandowski is one-dimensional imo and doesn't contribute much to our kind of game. Jovetic on the other hand... But that depends on what we get if we sell RvP.

I tend to agree. None of the Italian clubs are likely to pay him what he wants. Budgets in Italy are too tight. I was amused by one article I read this morning that said Berlusconi wants him to see out the season at Arsenal and then move to Milan for free next year for a huge paycheck. Something some guy just made up to sell papers, I imagine, but it was at least somebody who knows Berlusconi and Uncle Fester and their nose for getting players at bargain prices.
